MSC Cruises Experiences - Bella Fantastica Aurea? Which One Is For You

With AUREA you get access to the Thermal area where you have saunas, whirlpools, steam bath, warm benches etc. It is a SPA. Massages and other treatments are extra. I have had AUREA and it is relaxing if you are into that kind of thing. The reason we have had AUREA is that you get the Top Solarium, the private area which is a more quiet and not so crammed sun deck where you can relax in. The experience not mentioned is Yacht Club, the exclusive area a ship within the ship where you have a private restaurant, pool and a butler. There all drinks are included (Premium plus package) and yo can call your butler to serve the drink in your stateroom ( suites ). The problem is that if you try Yacht club you might never go back to the other experiences, but it is more expensive.

I definitely have to try out the Yacth Club experience at some point, nothing but good reviews I've heard.

The points are listed on their web page and yes each upgrade in Experience increases points

good comparison of all the MSC experiences....i'm glad i went for Fantastica for my upcoming cruise. With kids, its better to have an option to choose a stateroom near the elevator. I was able to do so with Fantastica. Aurea seems to be useless for all the reasons you gave. Glad I didnt waste my money on that. Thank you for this video.

@@ceresaroundtheworld7622 Could you please share what were the options for drinking water....I didnt see an option on their website to order water bottles in the cabin in advance, like other cruise ships....do they have water dispensers where one could refill our own water bottles? Thank you

@@Junior_Pickleball_A That indeed is a lacking option from MSC, I've never checked if they had an option to get a case of bottled water but on my trip in March on the Meraviglia my Stateroom fridge was full and I did drink a few drinks 😂 but in September the fridge was empty so I just filled up my water bottle from the buffet drink stations, it would be nice to have a case of water of longer cruises tho

Very informative video thank you. I choose the Bella package for my first cruise on MSC, my question do they place all Bella guests in the back of the sip? Also, was gratuity included when you booked? Would you suggest getting the nonalcoholic drink package if you are a couple who likes to drink any where between 6-8 bottles of water each a day? The other drinks coffee, soda and ice cream are a plus as well.

I'm not sure if they put all bella guests at the back but I do know you get more voyagers points with fantastica, gratuity is not included when you book from the website you pay that at the end of your cruise, I'd definitely say yes to the non-alcoholic package, bottled water if I remember right was $3.50 but it's a pretty big one

Hi, I'm not quite sure how that works, msc does have 2 lines when boarding, one for yatch club members and one for everyone else, I've never seen a Aurea/Diamond members line 🤔

I sailed with MSC (Divina) in 2018 with the Fantastica package and we have same package for cruise coming up next month. However, I cannot get confirmation on the breakfast room service. Last time, the coffee/fruit/croissant was free with free delivery each morning. This time, it appears only the SERVICE is free, but not the coffee/fruit. Can you confirm?

That's a good question, I believe if you have a drinks package, either the easy or easy plus then the coffee would be free, fruits and croissants are free.

I think we're going to end up paying for any breakfast items delivered to the cabin. So different than last time. Including the drink packages. They are way more expensive than before. Oh well...

@Pamela Bickett They have definitely changed alot but I believe if it's free in the buffet and you order to your room you won't pay, but I remember in December on the meraviglia they asked for my cruise card to order a cup of coffee I did however have the easy plus package and that covers any drink up to $9
