MSC Grandiosa (December 2021) - Episode 2 - Sea Day & Barcelona

In episode 2 we enjoy a relaxing sea day and have lunch in Hola! Tapas and watched a beautiful opera in the main theatre. While in Barcelona Josh took on the daunting Himalayan ropes course... Did he make it all the way this time? Or did he have to "help" Justin around...

We started cruising in 2019 with a Norwegian Fjords cruise on P&O Britannia, we fell in love with the ship and cruising and quickly booked a further cruise in the summer on MSC Bellissima. We now have completely caught the bug and have over 9 cruises in the next 12 months...

What a fun couple of days! Curious to see what kind of rules to get off in Barcelona (one of my favourite cities to visit!) but looks like you had a fun sea day. It’s too bad about the tapas restaurant usually it’s great to try a lot of different finger foods. And Josh and mussels and ceviche wow that is impressive 😂 it’s not your typical young person food 😉 I loved the holiday decorations on board. Great you guys go to the gym so often, I try to do the same but only cuz I love to eat so much! 🙂

Thanks for watching and the comments. It was a great few days and very relaxing! We love Barcelona too and will (fingers crossed) be back there in a couple of weeks. Tapas is fab but it was just so so greasy it was almost inedible… really such a shame Josh loves his food and we are really happy for him to try as much as he wants. He does sometimes go for the more typical choices 😉 We have to go to the gym so often to avoid the weight gain from so much yummy food

H8. Thanks for the great content. We are (hopefully) on the Grandiosa in Feb. Do you need to book the kids club in advance and are they flexible with adding more sessions in? It’s our first cruise, so we are not sure if our daughter will like it. Thanks.

When we were on in December we didn't need to book for Kids club but I was aware that they were limiting numbers. The hours do change depending on sea and port days. They don't take kids during meal times to the buffet at the moment but that could change in Feb therefore in December when we were onboard we had to pick Josh up for lunch and dinner. We are also back on in February too😁
