Thank you so much for this. We've heard mixed reviews, but we always appreciate your honesty. We'll give MSC a try. So glad they status match, but wish they had a water package and/or allowed us to bring canned drinks. We will definitely try the Blue Hawaiian, and we're really looking forward to seeing those beautiful crystal stairs!

Can you give an overview of the restroom location on the public decks on the Meraviglia

@@margueritag.1993 sorry I don’t really have any info on the restrooms. It’s not something I pay attention to. And I usually use the restroom in the cabin and avoid the public restrooms. But I do know there were restrooms near the theater, casino (by the lounge), and at windjammer. I’m sure there are others but I know those locations because either my hubby or kids stopped there.

In my opinion, there's no problem with MSC, there's a problem with the USA passengers. That's why I dread going on my MSC cruise from NYC in a few months. I only cruise with MSC because internationally they are excellent, in my opinion when they sail out of the USA they have to change up a lot of things because of complaints from USA passengers. They may not be all bubbly and fake, but I don't like disney world theatrics. I've sailed with MSC numerous times in the middle-east before the pandemic and the cabin stewards were fantastic. I think the fact that they had to get ALL NEW cabin stewards is part of the problem too. If folks only knew what they have to go through to even start the job, most people would say forget it. They have to put a lot of money up front before they're even hired. And the good thing now, they don't need to test for covid. That was a major issue where many of the crew would have to even go home. I would sail on MSC any day than Carnival or Royal Caribbean to just get away from the passengers 😁 So, all my upcoming cruises will only be MSC international for the variety type of passengers and Cunard to hopefully avoid the riff-raff. In my opinion the passengers can make a cruise miserable. Hope your cruise out of Barcelona is okay, because some cruises from there can end up like a party ship depending on where most of the passengers are from.

@@MHFamilyAdventures I forgot to mention that their website and their online and telephonic customer service in every country is the WORSE, but at sea they are the best for what "I like" in a cruise line. If you sail around the Mediterranean on Italian cruise ships and ferries you will notice the staff has a different demeanor which is natural for them. It's not a bad thing, it's just different from the fake interactions of USA cruise ships. Supposedly they are considering sailing out of Los Angeles in the future. If I had a choice I would rather sail from there than Florida or NYC😁

This is absolutely spot on. I have only ever been on 2 cruises both MSC. The first was in the Mediterranean the second transatlantic in October repositioning the Meraviglia from Europe to the US. The staff had so many training videos to watch about how to adapt for the US guests on the voyage over there which I thought was sad. This is NOT a US cruise line, why must it be viewed that in order for MSC to be better they need to be more US. As a European I love that they are not like the other cruise lines. What needs to be adapted here is the US guests flexibility of other tastes and cultures and not to paint everything with the same US varnish.

My family and I just completed our MSC cruise from the New York Port May 28th. This was our first MSC cruise since we usually sail Royal and Celebrity. We purchased the easy plus package and it includes adult drinks, juices soda specialty coffee drinks as well as bottled water and sparkling water.

I was just recently on my first cruise trip and it was a back to back first with Carnival and then on MSC Divina. I have booked two more MSC cruises since I've gotten off the boat I enjoyed it that much. I will say however I found it really curious as to how many passengers on the boat was foreign and didn't speak a lick of English. I'm not one to care about such things just found it rather odd that a cruise out of Miami would have over 60% passengers who didn't speak English. I also noticed that it's not wise to get hungry for food after around 12 or 1 am because there is nothing available not even a slice of pizza. Looking forward to cruising with MSC again on the Meraviglia and the Seashore. Enjoyed your videos

Also on my MSC cruise I kept hearing people complain about the wait time at the bars which I hear is a problem on all ships however I noticed MSC allows guest to get two drinks at a time on your drink package so it's best to do that

Have a great cruise! Just a heads up if you haven’t been notified. The ship will be about 3-4 hours late arriving in to port. I have a client onboard now and they are in bad weather. So this may delay you getting onboard. And yes we check out large suitcases with the porters and tip them a few dollars per bag. Have a great cruise!
