We were some of the first people lucky enough to be able to go on one of the 4 maiden cruises on MSC's brand new cruise ship the MSC Virtousa. In episode 1 we explain the embarkation process and how it felt to be back on a cruise ship after so long, and in episode 2 we show you around the ship and what food and entertainment MSC have to offer.

Enjoyed your vlog as always thanks, very jealous though - wish I was there. One thing I really dislike though re cruise ships/companies is "no go areas" and let's remember this is for the majority of guests. It really puts me off, it's a victorian attitude. I'll pay extra for a nicer cabin etc but to be treat like a 2nd class traveller by being barred from certain areas is not on for me. At least with restaurant upgrades etc everyone has a choice. Looking forward to your next vlog - 👍

Hi, I am going on this cruise on Sept 11 for 4 days. Somewhat confused about what insurance with covid cover I should buy for the trip, what insurance did you get, and with which company? If anyone could help me with which insurance to buy for the trip, that would be most helpful

Another brilliant video which had me laughing throughout. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of your meal on Elegant night as I've seen a few videos where the food has been said to be disappointing in both presentation and flavour. You chose well! The additional cost of ice cream seemed high, wonderful flavours were included in our HAL cruise last year. Absolutely loved seeing the Yacht club experience.

We had no complaints about the included food, though the Yacht Club does take it to another level, felt very grateful that we were given the opportunity to try it. Good to hear you really enjoyed this episode too! 😊

I was disappointed that you had Foie Gras. Did you know that they force feed the geese so that they overeat therefore enlarging the liver for this pate. Often the metal pipe used to force feed down the geese’s throat, punctures the poor geese’s neck. terrible thing to eat, also awful is Veal.

Every time one of your videos pops up, I smile and know it’s going to be a great day cruising with you. The Yacht Club is stunning. I’m just not sure I’m posh enough (or wealthy enough!) for it! Your elegant night outfits looked so great. I love the idea of Paul’s nice vest instead of hauling a jacket on a cruise. I’m going to suggest that to my husband for our cruises.

Thanks glad your enjoying them! Yes we did pay for WiFi, signal doesn't work when out at sea and also we went in to French waters so data would of kicked in, we always turn ours off so we don't get any unexpected charges! 😀

Which MSC ships were you on Debbie? As in the buffet on the MSC Opera we found the same but on this ship the included food we have had has been fine.
