Great video,thanks for posting.We are on this ship in 25 days time heading for Barcelona!Gives is a bit of insight into what to expect,our 9th cruise,first on MSC.Going open minded as we’re used to Royal Caribbean so will be interesting to see how an Italian line ship is run compared to an American run one.Wish us luck with the buffet queues!

We had the same experience on MSC Euriba. Buffet breakfast was carnage. I enjoyed the food but had food poisoning. Organisation of tours through MSC were a shamble too. Not rushing back. Enjoy your videos, you seem so happy and laid back. I’ve subscribed. We are FlyDriveExplore on KZbin.

Oh my goodness - I've been on multiple cruises on Virtuosa, and have never once queued to get into the buffet - were you there before it opened or something? This is so weird!

I did a cruise on virtuosa to cherbourg, I loved it and had no issues with the buffet. Never do cruises on school hols though.

Went on MSC Virtuosa last year and was a nightmare in the buffet. Always packed, lots of queues and little space around the food area. Went on MSC world Europa and was better as had two floor of the buffet and lots of space around it. Still busy at times. MSC really need to open more breakfast venues. However the pool area is the best at sea, beats P&O and some royal ships.

Having worked onboard many of P&O Cruises ships as a senior officer, they are by far the best cruise line for British guests who want a high standard of cruising. British food tastes, British drinks, afternoon tea, great variety of self service restaurants (many) and of course British styled entertainment. Family and adult only ships plus Britsh unique sailaways.

P&O ships all feel outdated compared to MSC, and there like floating retirement homes, all full of old people, and no group party's, loud music allowed and have enforced dress code on some nights, I've done 3 P&O cruises, now I've switched to MSC as there more fun, you can wear what you want and partys all the time, the MSC pizzas are great too.

@@JohnSmith-ef8nr It is a matter of choice my friend. If you like party, party choas, mayhem style go with bling MSC or have a much more refined experience with personal attention, politeness, courtesy and British values, go with P&O Cruises. Just choice and individual requirements...

@@JohnSmith-ef8nr hey 👋, Thanks for your comment we haven’t tried p&o but would like to give it ago sometime, maybe on a newer ship with activities on board. Yes the pizza on MSc was good! We must of just gone at a bad time as the queues to get food/drink were crazy. Take care 😊

@randrtravel Even the newest p&o ships like IONA don't compare to MSC ships, it depends what you want on a cruise. I only use the buffet, and the buffet food on p&o is like a school canteen, thay don't have nice pizza and it's not open all night. I'm back on Virtuosa next month.

On a 7 day cruise, i would use MDR once for dinner, buffet after that ! Food is similar i would say! Beautiful ship! PS Ruby, you are truly Angelic!

Cherbourg did look very nice and I’d enjoy that , the ship is very nice and pleasing on the eye , apart from that it did seem so disorganised and questionable everywhere etc , if we do a cruise I think like you have done is do a week around europe or maybe further . Love the videos but maybe this is just not my cup of tea . Keep it real lol
