This cruise line is crazy, if u ask 10 different people you’ll get 10 different answers on how good or bad this cruise line is! I want to do a Halloween cruise out of NYC! So I have a choice of the breakaway From NCL, the Venezia from Carnival and of course this ship from MSC! By far MSC is the cheapest, for seven nights, one person inside cabin with Internet and drink package less than $1000

My first cruise was last week on the Norwegian Bliss in Alaska. I have a weeklong cruise on the meraviglia and then a short one on the seashore. Then I’ll have Cruises on carnival on an older ship and on a Royal Caribbean ship in December. by the end of this, I’ll know which line I like, the MSC Cruises are certainly the best value, but I’m sure all these lines are very different

There’s a ton to enjoy so just be open minded that an experience on one cruise line does not mean it’s the same on another. There will be things you like and probably a few things you don’t, but those are great things to keep in mind when you choose your second cruise!

I’ll be going on this ship on December 2. I’ve been on Norwegian, Holland America, Carnival and Celebrity Beyond. My first trip was to Italy on the Leonardo DaVinci in 1967. I hope I’ll like the Maravaglia. The DISCO show you guys posted here looks a tad disappointing. Will I be seeing the same show? Hope not.

Cabin seems square instead of retangular, better flow but it may be too far from the TV, but I guess you can just listen to it at night. It has te be better than Costa!

Somewhat yes. There’s quite a large open area between the bed and the TV and the TV is a bit small. Certainly no big complaints about the cabin overall. Thanks for watching!

We had read reviews that indicated it can sell out so we recommend booking a spot ahead of time that way you are guaranteed a spot. That’s what we did and we had no concerns with arriving by a certain time. Thanks for watching and hopefully that helps!

Interesting and informative video. I've never heard of an up-charge for a theater production show like that. Would you say that the theater is smaller than what is found on other ships? Thanks!

The Carousel Lounge theater was a more intimate environment, and it had a nice atmosphere and is smaller than the main production theater where the included entertainment was hosted. The main theater was quite small compared to other similar size ships that we’ve been on. We will have more details on the production shows in our upcoming videos. Thanks for checking this out!

Was your cruise sailing at full capacity? I have not seen one MSC Meraviglia KZbin where the ship looked so empty...and none where the boarding was so fast. In every other video, every place is (uncomfortably!) packed all day long. To see that main hall so empty, dinner time or not, was so strange....which is why I was wondering how full your ship was. The Meraviglia holds 5714 people!! Huge. I am sailing on it next January but in the Yacht Club so as to (hopefully) escape the madness. It will be my first MSC cruise.

Several questions. Can you book your times for the Main Dining Room in advance? How much is the Gelato? I heard they charge for a 2nd entree (ridiculous) in the "Complimentary Dining Room"? Not sure if Florida is one of your ports but do they offer an excursion to Disney? How were the lines in the buffet? 🐸 (just subbed to you)

Great questions. You can choose your preferred dining time, early or late. We were assigned our preferred early dining time of 5:30 PM. We were to Gelato place twice. Spent about $20 each time for two of us. I’m just getting to editing about that so I will double check the prices and include the specific ones if I can. There was no indication of a charge for a second entrée, but that may apply to lobster or the premium options which were available for a surcharge each night. Surprisingly, we didn’t even see a shuttle in the excursions to get you to Disney. Perhaps that’s different on each sailing, but we didn’t see anything. The lines in the buffet were the worst we’ve ever experienced on a cruise. Just the way it was set up was not conducive to the amount of people and finding a place to sit was not easy, but we did find that the outdoor area at the back of the buffet often had seats which work good if it’s nice outside! Hope that helps! We’ll be sure to check out your channel!

I just got off Quantum of the seas last month, my wife said to me "I miss MSC". Msc ships are beautiful yes there's issues but crew and specially dining good. Meravigia and Magnifica so far. World America inaugural cruise next.

We do like a bit of nightlife but did find the nightlife to be a bit lacking. There are theme parties and the like, but in terms of an upbeat club , there was nothing that we found to be up the alley.

I could have a long story about this MSC. One TIP as advice especially for the American market, I am European and know MSC very well...... don't go with MSC Cruises.

Just paid 610 with drink package for solo cruise next April. 7 nights brooklyn to florida/Bahamas. Did same cruise last year as well. You can't rent a flea bag motel room for 90 bucks a night. For people to complain about getting cruise, food, drinks, and much more for that is crazy. Even for a couple and balcony room it's 1450 with drinks included. It's an absolute steal.

Hello, this video is very helpful, please let me know what time you get to the terminal only take 20 min to go thru the security check, we are going in thanksgiving week, try to get onboard before the crowd, thank you

You should have an assigned boarding time so if it’s in the morning, we would recommend trying to to change to an afternoon time as that’s when we experienced the fewer crowds.
