Great video! Another viewpoint on the Cosmic node - keep Vahl, replace Kang with Kahhori. 3 characters (Vahl, EGThanos & Kahhori) spreading exposed and making use of it - building charges for res/healing; providing energy to team; blinding the enemy.

Do you know what Jerbs that's a really good suggestion. I was thinking about Kang as He's got the 5% turn meter passive but I was completely overlooking how the Exposed mechanics would work so well together. The only issue that brings is taking that chance that Vahl gets re-worked at some point.

Another useful guide, good to learn about Cosmic Ghost Rider before my second DD7 run. Once I beat that final node, sadly. Also good to know the current suggestions, I wasn't sure how Uncanny would hold up. Slowly getting them from Purple 2 to Purple 3. Biggest obstacle was Purple Iso for DD8. That was a much steeper hill than Crimson Gear. Still slugging my way through Global Hero there, hooefully quicker now I can use all of Alpha Flight.

Oh and a suggestion for a future Wednesday ep - a beginner's guide on who to build. I was added to my cluster's Mentor panel so am going through nodes to see who early players should farm. Having one of your guides to point them towards would be a great asset.

I will let you know how Uncanny holds up once I've gotten Hercules but in my opinion if you need to take them to Purple Iso 3 for Spotlight 2.2 it makes sense to take them into DD8 and get that double dip out of them. Especially because the purple iso is still bottlenecked. You'll get there buddy I'm sure.

Just unlocked Odin earlier, in my experience DD8 was actually easier especially the Global Hero nodes compared to DD7 Global nodes. The only issue with DD8 is the scarcity of Purple isos that's why I started tuning in on datamines weeks before release that way I hoard campaign energy or iso energy to rank higher in leaderboards for the purple ions and isos. As for the crimson gears I took advantage of farming only crimson starting from the Candy store and within 2 weeks I finished gearing up all my toons to finish DD7. till now still farming crimsons in the Snow Globe store. pre Candy store I don't have any G19 toon but within 2 weeks geared up everyone I brought for DD7.

Asking this for clarification, few weeks ago I also thought, and asked you, about using UCA in DD8 to double/triple dip. After that though, I came to realize most of their kit were locked behind various modes and they might not be as amazing as I thought. But, you still recommend them based in resource management POV, right? After all, you can still go in and chip away every day. My concern is that, I do see the point of doing that for first run when you don’t have iso for the next section anyway - that’s also my situation; but I’m also concerned about second run, since purple iso might still be scarce, you’ll have to slog through the section on UCA again (maybe with AF to double tap the node each day). What’s your opinion on this? I tried to justify using XTreme trio with Storm+Beast as compromise, but on the other hand, that would also hamper my ability to do higher spotlight.

Hey Hicks, yes from a resource perspective they are my reccomendation and as you need both AF and UA for Spotlight 2 it just makes sense to do the both of them and double hit the nodes both days. This is also what part of the video was about if your not spending the big money then racing isn’t the key it’s just doing. So make the most of your resources. Remember that they could require the same for the next raid as well so we need to be ready for that so spending the minimal resources is best.

@@thebigpositivegeek That's fair. Racing part still concerns me a bit though. Similar to your car show room analogy, DD character depreciate everyday you don't have them. I don't have Mephisto yet RN, but currently Mephisto is trickling down to rank 43 in my Arena shard already, and squeezing myself in there becomes harder everyday. And my alliance mate who unlocked him roughly a week or so back and is also in the same shard as myself reports that he can only stay in top 10 for about a week and now it's dominated by Odin havers. I'm about to unlock Mephisto in roughly a week, and that should help push me back into top 50, but I fear it'll be the same all over again when I unlock Odin if I take the long route...

Phoenix once confirmed yes. Omega Red and I believe from the Boilon video his title will be Omega Red (Dark Phoenix) however is a brand new character so not the current Omega Red.

In DD8? I think it would be fine to bring them but Namor would need the rest of the Cabal to function. But again you're then back to Cosmic Crucible which teams are made for that game mode which is really based around 5 v 5 combat or building a raid team which has inbuilt sustain because it needs to for raids and they tend to keep alot of the sustain not hidden behind the Raid tag.
