why is that questionable? It's the perfect opportunity to do a baron dance. The goal is often not to take the baron, but to make the enemy team waste resources due to you having free pressure in a lane. The play was good, but they shouldn't force the baron, just "bait" it to force fnatic into a unfavorable position (facecheck, summoner advantage, etc)

you pick kallista and the game hits 25 minutes you already lost. Kalista takes all the kills and is no stronger than when he had 1 item. MSF couldnt even get back into the base before the baron steal. We were just waiting for the throw.
