Thanks once again for taking the time to provide a detailed overview on how we can organize our flight simulation add-ons. Also wanted to mention, if you already have add-ons installed in the default Microsoft FlightSim Community folder, you have an option in the Addons Linker application to move them to your preferred custom community folder. You just right click on the associated add-ons (they will be visible in the right column in Addons Linker), then choose “Move to custom add-on folder…”. You can do this individually, or select all at once. Thanks once again for your continued hard work and sharing of your knowledge.

LOVE the Addon linker. Can't live without, especially with mods spread out over 5 hard drives

great video and it was needed in the community. On another note, maybe you should think about mirroring your Flight SIM drive. Unfortunately, sometimes it is better to re-install Windows and all of the programs for a fresh start.

I always install clean.. I tried mirroring once and said never again lol

Hi O Kill! Can this addons linker add, or indeed detract, or take out world updates from MS also? My main drive is currently overpopulated more that it needs to be, i have a usb 32TB (yes terra) and my goal is to have both FS2020, and the forthcomming fs2020 on the same drive but, For now? I would like to know if indeed addons linker can do the same to MS world updates, much the same for any addons outside of fs2020? Much appreaciated for any feedback.

Nice video. I believe there is a new addon that has been released and this linker can indicate any conflicts between the mods and msfs. Can you do a video on the same. Can you help us with the name of this new addon linker. Thanks

Indeed, that would be //42 Simstaller ! It would be wonderful to see Overkill do a piece on it. Or better, compare install times on a new wave of addons with this video where it wasn't used ;-)

At the 2:22 mark, that's not your actual MSFS folder, correct? At 4:11 you are pointing the directory to the community folder you created and not the community folder from MSFS, right? Thanks for all you do and you amazing content!
@OverkillSimulations9 ай бұрын
That is my community folder. I always choose my own packages location during the install of MSFS :)
@CaribbeanSimPilot9 ай бұрын
@@OverkillSimulations so nothing points to the MSFS community folder as I understand it. Where is the program linking to MSFS to use the addons in the folder you created ?

@outlander04 sorry... add-ons linker is pointed to it
