@@737simviator honestly I find it a bit archaic, even expanding in nature. Hopefully the future is now and at one point majority of people will both move across the surface as well as trough the air and water. I do not use the word "driver" because I just don't use that word as an individual exclusively used to "aviator" or "pilot" for the subject at hand the same way you are - though I can see how it's just another manifestation of the evermore intense enrichment of the human language within a rapid shift in mass consciousness ensuing in the recent years. A few days ago my 11yo finished building his first PC - he's especially proud of how he handled every single part that he "unscrewed" (wtf ?!) and removed, afterwards precisely remembering how and where to put it back in place within the case. Also, at school he and his best friend are quite active within various group activities related to the betterment of "peoplekind" (wtf ?!). So, yeah, I actually see and I'm starting to get it...CRJ pilot, CRJ driver...interesting times, come on man. :-)

I flew this in P3D and honestly it was so much fun. They’re short, quick flights and they’re very involved. There’s no auto throttle so if you aren’t paying attention you’ll overspeed. Seems like a lot of other airliners are mostly hands off... this is very hands on.

So from what I could see there wasn't any difference between the airdrome and GPS location. Maybe the looking on my phone I couldn't see it but on page 2 they all seemed to be the exact same numbers. That probably sounds nitpicky but if you want the most accurate coordinates yet they are all the same doesn't make sense. Thats not to say I won't be buying it day one when it drops. Hope Asobo fixes the flaps problem by then. I also love the fact that while PMDG has been crying about SDKs Aerososft is making planes. Its coming up on year where you at other developers cough PMDG cough.

You "need" hydraulics for the inboard brakes and when you want to move the rudder, ailerons, and elevator. It is a standard FSX/P3D/MSFS bug that these flight controls move without HYD power in the sims.

The XFR switch transfers AP control from one Flight Control Computer to the other. The CRJ has two of them and you can see by the arrow next to the AP text on the PFD which one is "active". The TURB mode reduces the "gain" or sensitivity of the AP commands. It smooths out the AP outputs a bit as to not overly agressive correct for every flightpath deviation due to turbulence.

You can move around the cockpit with the arrow keys. If you have found a view you like just press CTRL ALT 1 to make it a custom view. You can do this for 0-9 views. Now if you want to see your custum view just press ALT 1 and there you go. I made 7 views this way and mapped them to my joystick buttons.

I see that the APU was able to be started with only battery power and no ground power connected.. Is that possible? Or has it been changed in the release version to require ground power connection for APU start?

As far as I know that is still possible in the release version. If not it would be a bug because it is possible IRL.

Thanks for the reply. Definitely seems to be a small bug at the moment, as pressing the Fuel / Power switch doesn't cause APU bite, SOV or APU door to open. Works with Ground power connected tho!

Will you have weathered textures? It will help a lot on realism as this sim is a bit too clean
@MilanPutnik
@MilanPutnik 3 жыл бұрын
That's an upcoming feature of the simulator itself - at least stuff such as dust, snow and various other materials' accumulation both short term and in the long run as a persistent simulation the same way as the icing effects that are present since the release of MSFS. Of course, in case we want weathered or even heavily worn out looking airplane, there will be such livery variations to pick from as there already is for majority of other airplanes. To weather or age an already existing livery makes for one of the easiest things accomplished within a few hours by a skilled Photoshop artist - don't worry. :-)

Brilliant tutorial, looking forward to see the other episodes! One question about the IRS where you said the aircraft knows exactly where we are as soon as we've plugged in the GPS coordinates. Isn't there an alignment time before the IRS is fully functional and accurate?

Thank you! There is yes. You can choose between instant, fast, realistic. Fast will be 2 minutes if I recall correctly and realistic around 8 minutes. You can see on page 3 the time remaining to allign.

@@docdutch6126 Bedankt voor je feedback! In the real aircraft you have a so called full allign and a quick allign of the IRS's.
