@@Valkyrie11b mine runs it fine. MSI Trident 3 12th gen. I put in a new 32gb ram next to the OEM 16g that's all. I use head tracking not VR

As far as I’ve found, you have fuel in the main left/right fuel tanks (the last 2 in the list), which aren’t used but counted in your total amount of fuel. So when I “refuel”, I set them both to 0 (and everything else to max) and I can fly safely without unexpectedly running out of fuel/losing my engines

You can use auto on the hsei panel and couple your seq1 to automatically change flight path after passing over an airport you added to flight plan instead of manually changing cpl wypt1 to wypt2 . Also ralt works you need to find it in the main menu to configure it.

Good review - a bit funny how Asobo maybe oversimplified some of the controls though. Agreed that the climb function on FPAS would be very useful. Otherwise, I still find myself going to the radar switches, INS/IFA alignment, FCS and trim reset. Ah well, early release I suppose, not a huge deal.

Funny when I do a full self start of the plane I can’t get the Mac lights to turn on, the switch for the nav lights don’t turn, on Xbox .

You forgot to mention the spread wings switch. Have to make sure that the wings are locked in the spread position. Edited to add, you should really get the VFA-103 livery.

You have to go into settings. Control Options. If you have a joystick pick that then type in front wheel steering in search a box will show up. There are some choices that appear. I think I picked X not sure. It's your joystick rudder control it did not ruin my rudder control it just made the front wheel steer now. I just found this messing around because I could not steer on the ground. Good luck I hope I pointed you in the right direction.

If someone wants to experience real fa18 simulation. I suggest them to switch to DCS. A lot of the stuff in the cold start procedure is technically incorrect and apparently not that realistic

you need to start from a gate or parking to start from cold.

its bugged if you follow the checklist. preset the throttles to idle and the engine motor switch. or just use the autostart engine keybind.

Whenever I push the switch to start the opposite engine the first engine dies on its ass.

Make sure your apu stays on the whole time your starting engines, also you can only start one at a time. The apu switch is designed to turn off after both engines have been started for about 2 minutes. The engine start switch should be to the right engine first and then wait for the start switch to automatically reset position, then start left :)
