MSFS | FSS E190 | New Sound Preview! | ILS 27 & Breakoff 24 in Amsterdam

The guys at FSS where so kind to share their updated sounds for the E190 and as you'll notice in the video they are awesome. The exterior sounds like actual KZbin footage and watching landings with the drone has become a whole lot more immersive. The sounds are still WIP and subject to change, for example the interior touchdown sound can also be heard from the outside. Weather conditions at Amsterdam were good which allowed us to perform the circle to land (breakoff) to runway 24 which really reduces taxi time. Hope you like it!

They just need to make the aircraft available for VATSIM use, such as Direct To in the FMC and making VNAV working. Beautiful aircraft

Direct-to's have been working for quite a while now. I've also been using it on VATSIM for well over a year, just takes a little bit of extra skill and patience. In terms of VNAV, you can still calculate your TOD and just plan your descent accordingly.

I have been flying it nearly every day on Vatsim for six months. What's the issue? Haven't had any controllers or anybody tell me I'm not not allowed to fly on Vatsim lol

It's not a airbus or a Boeing it's an Embraer It's totally different logic. The best way you can learn how to fly this and its current state is go back to general aviation flying and learn how to descend by yourself. It's actually quite satisfying to fly this plane.

Probably one of the most fun approaches in Europe. The FSS is still missing VNAV and some other FMC things that make it VATSIM compatible, however by what is shown here it looks amazing. Great video once again, keep it up!

@@springmediachannel I was wondering how it performs on VATSIM. I'm not too worried about the lack of VNAV, but does it have full SID/STAR and direct waypoint functionality at the mo? If so I may consider biting the bullet! :)

I fly it on VATSIM and it performs well. LNAV can be a little quirky but you get used it very soon. SIDS/STARS work, direct to works aswell. But you cannot modify a transition unless you go direct. So for example the arrival in Amsterdam has a full transition after ARTIP, I was cleared for a straight in: after ARTIP dct TIDVO. But you cannot already place TIDVO below ARTIP, so at the moment you’re about to pass ARTIP then put TIDVO on top.

@@springmediachannel I get what you mean. That sounds sort of manageable - most often I just get ‘leave ARTIP heading XYZ’ so it’s not a big deal. As long as it will allow direct to a waypoint from the current position that’s cool. Might give it a try!

It’s perfectly capable of VATSIM flying, just requires a bit more piloting

Hey hows it going, so i wanted to build a pc with a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4070 ti super and 32 GB DDR5. With my rtx 3060 gaming laptop I always had Problems at big Airports especially third-party Airports, how many fps do u get at your settings at 4k, 1440p or 1080p, would appreciate an answer! love ur vids btw, keep it up!!!!

At 4K with PMDG 737 around 35-40fps at EHAM, 30-35fps at LHR, JFK.
