Looks great! Hmm…HPG H160 is on sale too! Which one next? I will eventually grab them both but can only get one for now. I already have the H145, Cowan Sim’s Bell 206’s and Taog’s Alouette and Lama.

Very accurate sound , main rotor diameter seems a little off (small) but otherwise great looking model. i hope the flight model can introduce a higher level of realism to the rotorcraft category of MFS2020\2024

Does this thing feature accurate autorotation, RBS, VRS, mast bump, or pilot induced LTE? These are all things that are a bigger deal in the Huey then the 206 for example, and it would be lacking without them. In DCS these are all things I'm aware of when flying.

It autos really well! I’ve also tested both VRS and RBS and they’re working properly. I haven’t encountered LTE or mast bumping, but I haven’t tried unloading the disk yet or been heavy with the pedals…

Hello, I think you are using the Puma Pro Flight controls? How do you like them? Anything tips for using them? Thank you!

I have an older set that I upgraded to a Puma, I love the PFT control set! They are great 1:1, no curves. The only tip I can think of is to put a damper on the pedals and collective

Thanks for your quick reply! Which set do you have (4?)- Damper, because the friction is not high enough? I do really hope they changed it! For 2300US$ I expect something pretty much fine without any mods🙂 Can you try to describe the force you would feel on R66/22, MD-500? Thanks!

@@user-ui5rr4ke8j the new sets come with mounting locations for dampers. You can just use a $20 motorcycle steering damper from Amazon. The bearings that come on the set I have are good, but the dampers feel more linear. The new sets are probably better. My set is 8 years old. You really don’t feel much feedback in the cyclic of a real heli. The rotor absorbs a lot of the energy. You mostly get pressure against what you are doing or from different rotor dynamic effects. Like in forward flight, the cyclic pushes back against your forward input. That’s why there is trim.

One more: I saw a pre-flight check of the cyclic-control stick (500E) and I was really surprised about the amount of travel the stick has- why is that so large, when you are using such small inputs during flight?
