MSFS | IFLY 737 MAX 8 | Turbulent Madeira Landing

Flew to Madeira to check out the new scenery by Atelic. We flew the RNP A followed by right turn to final. The METAR wind was 11kts but as you can see it was a lot more bumpy and windy than forecasted. Note the windshear just before we cross the threshold.

Turbulent!?? Still a weak es in MSFS is to generated and illustrator turbulence. Lets hope for improvements in '24 😊

Turbulence in MSFS is indeed generated and unrealistic, but it’s turbulent tho. Especially shearrates and variable winds are somehow very extreme as the general flight models are very, very sensitive. Looking forward to MSFS2024

You can just search in REX Atmos for “Lupo” and you’ll find the “Enhanced Realism” preset

According to the charts you can go as low as 940ft, which is the MDA. So I leveled off at a 1000ft and then started the right turn. Near the end of the turn you’ll need to pass “GELO” at 850ft, so you only need to loose 150ft during turn base turn, which means you can start the turn level like I did
