Join me live as we follow real world schedule of VH-VUP from Melbourne to Canberra and then up to the Gold Coast. Our aircraft will be Virgin Australia's PMDG 737-800 (VH-VUP) and A pilots life 2 will be tracking our flight. We encounter gusty winds at all 3 airports and have a master caution warning on takeoff at Canberra that makes us reject takeoff and try again.

I fly with failures on and when i re-watch, i think the Master caution warning must have been the doors light from the door seals not being sealed properly, they will seal again in flight (false warning) That's why when i press the recall again, we don't get the master caution light staying illuminated. Anything under 80 knots is rejected takeoff, line up and try again. Always stay ready 🧑‍✈

The reason that you couldn't hear the ATIS was that whilst you were programmed to the frequency, you were only listening the VHF1, which did not have ATIS in it. To fix this you can select the VHF2 radio, which did have ATIS on it.

Thankyou for the comment for the help, really good eye you have. The only way i've found to monitor VHF2 is by pressing the VHF2 volume button (the orange and white arrow) selecting the top VHF2 active button doesnt make it active. If you have a look on my milkrun monday stream the other week you can see it working on VHF2 listening to the atis while on clearance on VHF1
