It's absolutely absurd we have to pay $40 just to get the correctly named taxiways in the "Most Realistic Flight Simulator" for $120... FSX and even FS2004 had 'em named correctly

Ok you use a 3080, what about performance with a 2080Ti ? can I also achieve 45fps on some high and ultra settings with all these add ons. Good video and much appreciated. @@PIEINTHESKYTOURS hello I have a question, have a I7 11700 and a Rx6700xt 12gb . have the Real Global Airport Textures from zinertec and have at the airport partly since then only 25 fps . my graphics settings are also not all on ultra . so that's why I think not . Any idea why?

I will be buying the Rex addition here in a moment, but I do love the Real Taxiways, cost notwithstanding. It totally changes my experience when trying to taxi properly. I think the two together are a winning combination. Thanks for the great review!

Is there any add-on that improves airport lighting (runways, taxi lines)? The default lighting is completely unreal, it is too bright and too visible from a distance - it glows like a Christmas tree. ;-)

For some reason I am entering my NAME, Email, Serial number and the store I had bought if from which was SIMMARKET and the item I had bought was ''Rex global textures'' but every time I enter all the information I click on ''Register'' but it is not letting me do you know how to fix this? Edit: Is because I bought it from the sim market?

I agree with you regarding the Rex Real Global preference. In fact, I bought that addon about a month ago. I see that you posted this video about a year ago, so it's possible that I've seen your review before and went with your analysis back when I bought it, but I can't be sure. Either way, the Rex product does a great job. I often choose the worn markings but found them hard to see when I fly in low-light or night-time hours, (particularly on underdeveloped airfields). Therefore, if I anticipate a lot of night flying or heavy fog and/or stormy conditions, I switch to the "New" markings. The process only takes a few seconds so I don't have to lose a lot of time making the change. Thanks for the video! Rich

all hail the Pied Piper, simian solution to all your VR needs, easily the best MSFS channel on youtube, there are others which also provide value but i don't want to watch some guy sitting in his basement while he talks into a mic, the Pied Piper of Pie In The Sky Tours has strong production values and provides measurements vs. subjective opinion as other channels do, maybe i missed it but can you do a video on G2 reverb prescription lens adapters?

The video on the JusFlight is no better than MSFS on the taxiway just after the high speed from runway 25R-7L at B5 a taxiway sign is in the middle of the taxiway.

From the video it seems that Zinertec is the only one that allows you to choose the installation folder. I am storing all my addons outside the community folder (because it is encrypted) and have the addon linker with symbolic links pointing to the community folder.

Outstanding work showing the differences. It was close between Rex and Zinertek but I prefer the Rex version by quite a bit.

I very much appreciate your coverage of texture enhancements and I'll probably end up with one of them, given the obvious improvements. However, I REALLY liked your choice of airports for illustrating these products - I grew up in that town just to the south of LAX and not only recognize the airport landmarks, but those buildings just outside the airport (even worked in one of them when I was in engineering school); I love the amount of detail and accuracy that MSFS has already achieved and I found myself watching the edge of your screens as much as the details you were showing! Used to ride my bike over there all the time when I was a kid, such a thing was still possible and helicopter-parents didn't exist - many adventures and memories from the "old" LAX. Thanks again.

@@leohors852 Hi, Leo! I am not involved, but I did purchase GSXPro. My main reason was not the catering truck - for example. (Well, I fly private jets and the Cessna 172, so...) I only cared about the marshaller's follow me car. Having that now, that's huge deal for me.

I'm following your channel and asking for help. A few days ago I installed "Rex Real Global ...." and I don't know what's wrong. The dozen airports I loaded and used look exactly the same even though I changed the settings!I even reinstalled RRGAT, anyway. Everything looks brand new and the same as by default.And so I wanted some oil and dirt ..... :) I don't know who to ask for help. I can't find a forum to turn to. Thx Chris. Excellent video. I went with the Rex too. Found them most realistic. Thought about the taxi signs addon but was not sure if it is worth the price. But for VR it could be very good because of the better readable of the signs. Take care buddy
