Update from MSFS: Will my Premium or Premium Deluxe Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) carry over no matter what edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 I purchase? If you own Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) Deluxe Edition or Premium Deluxe Edition the additional aircraft and airports unique to these editions will automatically work in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Only for the Grand Canyon I buy the new sim it’s looks amazing, but I wondering if these content is on ultra graphics or it’s looks also good at medium or low settings and also curious about water animations like rivers and waterfalls ?

Has Asobo removed the collision meshes preventing the drone camera from being used to explore the interiors of handcrafted airports such as ones that came from World Updates in 2024?

This was a epic stream, you and the team must have been knackered after it LoL! Any how.. I missed the live stream, so I've just watched the repeat. I think for us flight simmers we have some exciting things ahead of us. One question: As a FFA pilot, what will happen to FireFlyAir, will it cater for both 2020 and 2024? Oh yes, also a very important question.. Will there be any Skoda's in 2024

What about VR mode in MSFS 2024?

Will livery management be improved in MSFS 2024? Personally, I would like the option to A: Set the default livery to always be my favorite, B: Arrange the liveries in my order of preference, and C: Hide all of the default liveries that I hate and would never ever use. In other words, eliminate all of the clutter and shorten the list down to just my few personal favorites, so I don't have to wade through 40+ liveries. More isn't always better, if you only like one or two and hate all therest.

Will we be able to use existing MSFS 2020 pilot avatars in 2024? I have a custom avatar of myself and my daughter (who is always my co-pilot) that I created by hand for MSFS 2020.
@garywilliams6778Ай бұрын
@@Henkerhaus Looks like you will be able to recreate you and your co-pilot daughter even better in MSFS 2024🤩
@HenkerhausАй бұрын
@@garywilliams6778 I used photographs of my and my daughter’s face, my favorite sweater, my favorite golf hat, and my favorite shoes to create my custom avatars. None of that will be in the new sim, which is why I want to reuse what I already created.

Great video. Thanks for the commentary and looking forward to more reveals. God that sounds so AI comment, but to make a specific point I’m excited, not concerned, by the 3rd party developers. The base has been improved so they will improve beyond the base.
@sling3808Ай бұрын
Thanks for the detailed run down. It showed a lot of what to expect. But please, please do not push the everything in the Market place agenda. There are many simmers who avoid the MP where possible. The single biggest reason IMHO is because aircraft and sceneries are locked and cannot be read by other third party products. In lots of cases it’s desirable to mod what is provided because not all devs are on the same level. .to mods and third party product dev would be badly affected if this was the case. Sales outside the MP thrive because of this and many other reasons. The idea of the MP is great but the implementation sadly is lacking. I don’t believe 2024 will be any better in this regard but we will all have to wait and see how it performs after release.

Am I the only one that thinks the graphics look sort of cartoonish? Everything seems VERY bright. I get they are more detailed but there's something off about it.
@EyeForKnowledge.Ай бұрын
Yes. You’re the only one. Simulator looks absolutely breathtaking.
@ThorNjordАй бұрын
On the very bright aspect, one guest said there was a bug that made some of the footage look overexposed. That said, it's way less cartoony then 2020 and that's awesome!
@RATTMANАй бұрын
Yes it’s more cartoonish than say X-plane. It’s more down to how the engine renders objects, their use of color palette and lighting technique.

Who wants to help? Looking to get into Flight Sim using MFS 24 on Xbox. What should I purchase joystick, yoke, do I need pedals etc? Any help would be greatly apprecited
@tedswordАй бұрын
It depends on what aircraft you want to fly and how much you want to invest in it. If you want to fly military aircraft, you probably want a HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick). If you want to fly general aviation, you probably want a yoke. If you want to fly most jets, you also probably want a yoke, but if you want Airbus or Boeing aircraft, there are special products for that, as well, however they are less versatile than a regular yoke and they cost a lot of money. Do you want rudder pedals? If you want to fly realistically, yes. If this is more of a casual thing that you want to do in your living room every once in a while, or if you're not sure how far down the rabbit hole you want to go with this hobby, don't bother with rudder pedals right now. You can configure Flight Simulator to do the pedals for you, and then you can always buy them later if you realiy want to. I'm going to give some recommendations that are reasonably high-end and expensive. If you're not sure you want to do this hobby or you want to save some money, feel free to find used or refurbished versions of these so you're not committing too much right away. I know it looks like I'm making a lot of Thrustmaster recommendations. If this were for PC, I would have other recommendations that are not Xbox compatible. HOTAS: Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One (comes with a yoke and throttle) Add rudder pedals: Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals (note: If you plan on buying this plus the HOTAS, it comes in a full pack) Yoke: Honeycomb Alpha (yoke) and Honeycomb Bravo (throttle, flaps, and other buttons) Add rudder pedals: Honeycomb Charlie Boeing-style yoke: Thrustmaster TCA Yoke Pack Boeing Edition (Note: Really expensive!) Add rudder pedals: Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder (Note: Really expensive!) Airbus-style yoke: Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack or Officer Pack Airbus Edition Add rudder pedals: Same as above...Thrustmaster TPR

They did a huge disservice by not disclosing the hardware that was being used in the demo.
@Peter-tb5vgАй бұрын
@@sjohn5779 It was always going to be pushing the hardware boundaries. 2020 did the same and in some ways, that's a good thing as gives it longevity. I suspect my broadband will be the kilker for me, so for now, I'll stick with 2020, which at the end of the day is excellent.

It's the same sim with the same planes just added mission scripting and let people pay 200+ again. Welcome to Microsoft Interestingly many expensive 3rd party aircraft from 2020 are now included in the expensive versions. What puzzles me is that I likely will never fly most of the crappy ones and the those few I do fly are of course only in the expensive packs only. I see a lot of missing features in the mission generator that should be in 2020 already. I mean the save and load functions do not even save and load everything. The menu also does not save any settings apart from last loaded location and all this time they have been implementing it into this new title while we paid for it to be in 2020. I see many settings and things that are flat out missing or broken and not fixed in the current sim build. I mean.... night lighting will be a feature in 2024 instead of fixing it in 2020? Trying to push the same title on Xbox and PC is kind of silly too. It's like trying to sell Cyberpunk for a Playstation 3 ps. Holland is only 2 provinces. The Netherlands is all 12. Holland comes from the old days. It's kind of like calling the United States Texas or California. The confusion starts when people from those 2 provinces use 'Holland'. factually that is correct for them but not for 12 million other Dutch people. Politically it's sensitive as well and almost sparked civil war once because it was once also part of subdue of 10 provinces by the 2 Holland 'elite' provinces. They still use Holland to backstab the rest of us. It's really sensitive stuff. The same happened around the civil war with what is now Belgium. The same elite crap. Holland is now part of The United States of The Netherlands for a few 100 years. Calling us Holland starts civil wars here man LMAO
