I had a bubble skirt when I was a senior in HS! Back in 1988. 😊It was a navy and cream houndstooth skirt with a matching cropped lady jacket that I always wore closed. I loved it! That bubble skirt was soooo fun. Too bad I didn’t keep it!

My favorite by far of everything is the bubble skirt with tights. 👍🏻 The shirt dress is my second favorite and I agree swapping it out for a different belt and cuffing the sleeves is needed for styling.

I have to thank you for these videos. I have the SPANX air essentials set but wanted one in black. My finances have changed so the spanx set is out of my budget right now. I ordered the scoop brand from WalMart in the cargo pants and 1/2 zip and love it! At 5’9” it’s also long enough for me 😊. I haven’t shopped at Walmart in years and am impressed at their latest styles/quality.

I am ordering the French terry sweatpants. I’m short, so they will be a normal hem length for me. I wish the striped sweater was a little longer. I don’t have the right shape for the more cropped styles. I’m not a fan of the parachute pants, but if anyone could figure out how to style them, it’s you. I found a scoop half zip sweatshirt on sale for $15. I’m going to give that a try. Happy New Year and thank you!💐

Where is it warm now? Hawaii! At least 80 degrees with cooler nights. The bad thing is, I don’t get to wear sweaters, blazers, boots, and cozy night clothing unless I am traveling. Love your videos and appreciate how you bring different price points for everyone. ❤

I love that you wore that green sweater at the beginning of the video! I ordered it (in pink mauve) after I saw you style it on Instagram, and this helped me see it in motion. I can't wait to get it! I'm not a fan of boatnecks, they're not flattering on my narrow shoulders and long neck, and my bra straps have a tendency to show. Not really loving the parachute pants. 🤷‍♀️ Nice haul, overall! ❤

I appreciate your presentation but have sewn for decades and was appalled to see a pleated skirt for $7.98. I know it's easy to sew a skirt but someone is out there making it and I wonder who that is and what they are paid.

I’ve also seen for decades but 1) machines are doing the work easier and faster than ever before and 2) a finely made garment is still quite different from the average garments sold at ANY retailer regardless of price. This difference has decreased even more within the past few decades and even materials have degraded so much, nevermind labor and skill.

Yes have to agree that clothing prices are crazy low and one gets exactly what you pay for usually.

They are made on an assembly line you get paid hourly not by garment, of course the faster you sew you get a bonus I use to work at a garment manufacture company. And different companies put they're name it them it can be the same garment but sold with different named companies so it can be a $50 garment at one place and lower at Wal-Mart or other stores, unless you get designer brands.
