Someone said the number of pages you read per day will be close to the amount of books you read in a year based on the average number of pages in a book being equivalent to the number of days in a year. That should help your reading goal. The attic space is suuuuper cute and realistic - nice job as always

that means id have to read like 100 to 200 books a year 😱😱

12:00 using the blinds as a garage door is genius!! i’ve been looking for more alternatives to garage doors and i’m definitely bookmarking this

I LOVE this one! Victorians are probably my favorite architecture style. The "for sale" sign in the attic made me laugh--we have ours in the shed irl bc that's where the previous owners left it. 😂

21:53 the item you placed is called a cameo! you see them a lot as jewelry (i have a couple cameo brooches!) and they were really popular in the Victorian era, though they've been around for much longer. love the video as always, your sense of color cohesion always blows me away!

I said this once & I'm gonna say it again - you're the best at roofing in Sims! I know you said you had troubles doing the roof for this build, but you make it look easy! 👏

This is easily one of my favorite builds that you've posted! I love your squishes, but I have an affinity for your larger creative endeavors similar to this one. It's just great - the design, thoughtfully-curated furnishings, & floor plan with numerous nooks & crannies are all just so satisfying to watch as you bring this Victorian home to life! Love love love !!!

Some tips for starting to work with an editor: make a content “rulebook” so to speak! I learned this from another creator I watch (MatPat, and you know the method has worked for him), but it’s really helpful to have a document with all of your stylistic nitpicks with editing written down (especially if you ever need to change editors suddenly). You’d include things like your specific fonts you use for different situations along with the sizes if you use consistent ones, what transitions effects you use for different parts of the video, how you like to pace things and how fast you like the voiceover, how much they should edit out of slower moments or voiceover mistakes, etc. No detail is too small, if you notice something the editor asks you about often, add that to the document! Over time, with enough work, you’ll develop a document that you can hand it off to new editors and they’ll be able to replicate your style with so much less back and forth, and it will relieve SO MUCH stress. It takes a bit of time to get there, but you’ll be working on that regardless training up your editor to reach a point you’re comfortable with, so why not do this at the same time as a backup?

Hello! Psychologist here - if you want to build a new habit (like reading regularly), try habit bundling. It's the concept of attaching a new habit to an existing habit. For example, when I started taking vitamin supplements, I knew I'd forget, so I put the box next to my toothbrush. When I brush my teeth, I take my supplements. It makes it easier for your brain to build that new habitual behaviour! For reading, it could be that when you eat you evening meal, you take half an hour to read a book afterwards. I find it really helpful! Also, this build is SO PRETTY, I love the landscaping, and the attic was so fun, it looked like a way bigger version of my own attic, with the giant Santa and the reindeer. I chuckled. Love the addition of the bikes out front as well, that's so realistic for houses with kids - never putting their bikes away!

We watch it, but tend to like to binge episodes so we are currently behind. Love GOT and HOD! Are you on Goodreads for the books? I like that they help keep track of your goal as you add what you read through out the year. I like " checking" things off when done... even though I'm currently behind on my yearly goal. I can change it next year since it's been different schedule wise this year.
