Hard agree. Sometimes trying to match things exactly down to the object can make things feel inaccurate cuz all of the objects aren’t quite right. Going for vibes definitely produces better final results

Beetlejuice is my absolute FAVORITE movie. My husband, kids, and I watch it all year long. My husband and I have matching Barbara & Adam tattoos. I freaking LOVE beetlejuice. not only I've watched the movie so many times, too, but I grew up on the cartoon series and was lucky enough to see the musical when they were on tour earlier in 2023. I had a trip and the dates collided by sheer dumb luck, and I'll never forget that moment

This came out great! I'd love to see if someone could remodel it into the Dietz's house, just to see if it can be done... might need some CC for Delia's sculptures. Aside from that thought, this looks amazing, and you really did well capturing the house and all it's concepts with the tools that are available to you in game. As a fellow Beetlejuice lover, this is fantastic, and now I want to make the Sims to match it!

I love that movie! Though I haven't watched it nearly as much haha. A unique romp for sure. Unforgettable. I guess I shouldn't be surprised they're coming up with a sequel sometime soon. I also watched the animated series on tv as a kid, back in the 90's maybe? Beetlejuice becomes the wacky BFF of Lydia (and she keeps her terrible parents I think, they just become kinda clueless instead) which isn't accurate, the poor Maitland's got the shaft, but it makes sense for a cartoon, I guess. The Neither World as depicted there was pretty cool and I loved Lydia's cartoon design. Thanks for building the house and sharing this with us!

I love Beetlejuice!! I own it on KZbin cause it’s not always streaming and I will watch it any time of year. It’s such a fun campy movie. Also I’m pretty sure they aren’t filming the second movie here in Vermont, I think it’s been filmed overseas. Oh and I love the build!!❤

It's one of my favorite movies and favorite movie houses as well. I honestly wish we could build the entire town from Funny Farm, but that's probably not really possible on the sims 4.

They are filming it in the same town. My mom lived there for a bit and they were filming the second while she was there. She sent me a bunch of pics from the filming. And it definitely was just the facade, it was still there and they updated it for the new movie :)

I like the movie okay, BUT I absolutely LOVE the musical version. It's fantastic on every level and I'm SO excited to have seen it on Broadway and that I get to see it again when it comes through on tour next summer! Would definitely recommend it, especially if you love the movie!

Great build! Instantly recognizable. If you're still up for a spooky-ish build, the townhouse from the AMC series Interview with the Vampire is super cool (and based on a real house). Very maximalist, with hidden coffin rooms (bookcase door opportunity?) 😊

I love, love, love this! Beetlejuice is definitely one of my faves, and I always watch it. My husband loves it too, so we watch it on rotation. I love that you brought the lore into the game with the model of the lot in the attic! I saw Beetlejuice back in 88 when it was first in theaters and I still love it to this day. It's wild to me that the film is a PG when there's an F-bomb partway through the feature. I watched Beetlejuice with my 13 year old this year because she wants to go see the musical and didn't know the plot and she was shocked when this character in a PG movie said the f-word. I had completely forgotten it was in there. It also led to my kiddo seeing the Burton Batman films for the first time because I casually mentioned that the actor who played Beetlejuice went on to be Batman the next year and she couldn't believe it.

I like Beetlejuice. I always found it spooky as opposed to scary, even as a kid. I remember watching it in the early 90s for halloween when I was like 7 or 8. This house is wonderful. I love recreations in the sims, they are always like a love letter to the original, regardless of accuracy, as long as vibes are there. This house has vibes!

have always loved beetlejuice for multiple reasons, 1 all the spooky themes and 2 the house reminds me of my favorite aunts house which was in fact by the ocean and a very large old new england house, alot of white blue and brown XD plus i blame lydia for me having a red wedding dress as an alternative if i can't find my first choice one day
