I got one and it's really not that bad as those reviews said. The grip is good, screen is good and both Intel & MSI update the software and driver frequently so the performance is getting better

I would suggest you’d do a follow up full review of it, I understand this is first impressions which is okay, but this device has lots of problems that need to be discussed if not shown then basically all of your product shows and videos would be questionable since it seems too obvious to everyone that truthfulness hides behind sponsorships.

Having owned one, I can say it's pretty good as a first gen. Intel is also stepping up their game for the updates. Would hope XeSS1.3 drops asap though, would be a game changer.

4:05 Did that thing had a Lag there? On maximizing a Windows Explorer Window?! 9:26 okay Games are okay, but AVG tbh I would loved to see more Gameplay Running on that thing than Chassis analysis. You know, don’t get me wrong like your videos ❤ but it’s a bit sus that the gaming part was so small on a device, a device which is meant to run games the majority of the time and it fails on rendering window maximizing fluently? Mmmm I donno. Maybe it was a list of things that needed to be displayed by MSI.

Well, fortunately, and unfortunately, at the same time... it doesn't have a graphics card. Just the CPU.

Well, in fact, all of these hand-helds have no graphics cards. But the steam deck and the Z1 Extreme devices use an APU. Which, in fact, is a type of CPU, but with a higher performing integrated graphics. Kinda like the consoles (xbox/playstation), but the MSI is using a more simple approach. The same CPU that any new laptop with the core ultra 7 in it.

I'm curious about the msi claw gaming performance when overclocking the cpu to the highest tdp and to the highest clock speeds for the cpu and gpu highest clock speeds for better performance with msi after burner with games maxed out graphics settings enabled with native resolution always enabled and upscaling always off. There are barely or no videos about anyone overclocking the msi claw with msi after burner. Overclocking is still available but hardly ever mentioned since there are hardcore overclocking users for cpu and gpu performance when trying to utilize the hardware to there maximum capabilities. I hope that there will be an Intel core i9 processor on the next gen handheld gaming device since I was hoping that the msi claw was going to have the Intel core i9 flagship processor for gaming since the intel core i9 are on gaming laptops but still use mobile processors on gaming laptops and mobile handheld gaming devices. I would replace the stock cpu fans with noctua fans for better cooling, quieter performance and better reliability that noctua has always been known for compared to any stock cpu fans from Intel or amd that are being used in any laptop and desktop pc.

I have tried them all and for me they are all disappointing. Even the ROG Ally with the Extreme that I did a tons of research on and was rated as the best on the market. Steam OLED is overrated because it only has an 800 screen (kinda pointless) so I am left with my iphone 15 Pro Max and trying to get a remote that fits it or my ipad. Think about it, if games on a PC require power to look and perform well... why in the world do we get subpar gaming specs in mobile devices and they say just because it's small it doesn't need as much power. They are wrong.

Steamdeck and ROG alley also has many problems when they launched. The Claw has seen major improvements with the updated BIOS and GPU drivers.
