Would love a comparison videosince you’ve bought so many units, and are best equipped to make one. Some suggestions: 1) Expensive thin and lights ($2000 and above)-> Blade 15, GS66, Triton 500, ROG S15, Eluktronics Max-15 2) Expensive thicc 15” ($2000+)-> GE66 Raider, Alienware m15, Eluktronics Mech G3, ROG Strix Scar 15 3) Budget 15” laptop-> Helios 300, RP-15, Omen 15, Strix G15. 4) 17” performance laptop (150W GPU)-> GE75 Raider, Alienware m17 R3, ROG Strix Scar 17. And so on. You already compare the benchmarks, but would like a comparison of other stuff side by side (such as build quality, noise generation, audio quality etc).

Firmly my new fav laptop reviewer on KZbin now. Super glad i went with my Triton 500 over this unit now... on the surface level, it seems like ur basically grabbing a razer blade 15, at a nice discount- but the plethora of minor little annoyances, add up to be less than desirable.

Not that im tryng to be toxic, but imho comparing msi gs66 stock vs acer triton Undervolted is not quite fair. Im sorry if you undervolted both, but it was not listed nowhere. And UV proof is one of the last charts with games.
@CETechTips3 жыл бұрын
Not at all, sorry this is my mistake, I didn't put the UV tag on the GS66. It was in fact undervolted for the benchmarks. I had a -110mv on it. Sorry for the confusion. This issue still stands as the the video card is limited in power.

@@АртёмЛавринец No that is my fault I should have caught that. Glad I could still help though. What are you looking at now?
@АртёмЛавринец3 жыл бұрын
I decided to invest into ge66. Much better thermals for pretty much same specs. Looks and build is not so stealthy, but longevity and performance are of a primal concern. Also, msi are one of the last to still allow undervolt on all machines without any third side parties.
@АртёмЛавринец3 жыл бұрын
At the same time, something from asus (say, zephyrus series) could be an option, but they are kept cool because of already installed LM. Therefore, it cannot be upgraded for better temps with it. Not to say about Ram situation. And as for triton - dont know why but the looks doesnt appeal to me.

That’s fairly simple if you ask me, GE66 if you want to go thick+performance and battery , S15 if thin and light (although no webcam). GS66 is only if you need the Windows Hello and battery.
