I have the same laptop, I want to upgrade to ssd, but there’s this intel optane on the slot, can I just replace it!?

In this video it has probably a nvme SSD drive and some regular HDD. You don't need to upgrade nvme but you could upgrade this HDD drive to SSD. Should be easy. Please don't forget to unplug the battery first. You can upgrade nvme to a bigger capacity nvme but in that case you would need to reinstall OS, which is not a big deal, but just another thing to do.
