One of the black screws was tight in the wrong angle. Impossible to remove unless you destroy the shell. The metal and the plastic one.

Ordered a MSI monitor and it has a grey spot in the middle of the screen. I was thinking about opening up and cleaning the screen, after watching this video, I think I will just return it. Sucks because I hate waiting forever to get a new monitor.

literally no one has any videos about replacing and fixing hoping this helps me with my broken monitor it had the softest fall ever and still broke (besides it hitting the corner of my pc case) i legit caught it right at impact hoping i saved it i was moving my setup around cause i found out my second monitor was 2k over my main one at the time it was 1080 p but i was so upset called asus and it was also before my warranty also and they told me id have to spend another 150$ to send it in and get it fixed i was just like what do you mean i still have my warranty and she was like thats all i can do hunny never been more upset in my life needless to say never buying asus again

I bought new MSI G274F, with nail size light leak on the left side, is it possible to open this and just re seat the panel... ? Maybe it has like loose screw or dust. I dont mind loosing my warranty, this was cheapo monitor under 200€, and i am curious, i have been building gaming computers sure and feel confident enuff to go for it. I wouldnt for +500€ version, but this could be worthy experience for me, i will be buying this types of monitors in the future too for gaming, and if they could be perfect with minor fix.

dude i tapped with my pinky finger with a bit of force & the whole screen blinked for a 1 sec. thn went back to normal i did the pixel test & all was good what do u think?

Yes you can just remove the back mount like in the first few seconds of the video and the Vesa mount screws into those 4 screws

@@krusty1910 looool I got my monitor broken for £20, the panel is called - lsm270dp02. (This is 27inch 1440p 165hz one) This panel can’t be found anywhere! Except for a Chinese website called toaboa and lcds-centers.com, it’s not like add to basket and buy you have to make a quote and they will contact you back , toaboa I’m pretty sure you can buy straight away but only through some shipping company or something lol, and I think it’s quite overpriced aswell, if you find any other websites please tell me thanks , good luck bro 😆
