I'm really keen on that Project Zero X build. Clean, modern, easy access. I hope they do something with this concept. I've been supporting Project Zero since it released--got an NV5 Mk. II from Panteks and really love the aesthetics of the build, so a further evolution would be great to see.

The project zero X needs to be manufactured and not a concept lol. Its gorgeous. I also am intending to do up the gaming room with a similar concept, the pc case above the monitor for my wife and I. So a black build on one side of the room and a white one on the other. And I think this case is perrrrrfect for that concept. Open air cases look great and all, but the dust buildup makes them more trouble than they're worth. I think something like this solves that problem

I/O should be on top. Many benefits of that design: 1) Easy access to plug in accessories 2) no GPU sag if GPU is mounted vertically 3) with GPU mounted vertically, can have the airflow be vertical as well, matching how hot air naturally rises.

That Project Zero X concept looks interesting. FINALLY... someone is rethinking the placement of all the USB ports which have been sited at the rear of PC cases for decades now. Totally fed up with having to manhandle my PC case to turn it around so I can see what port I'm plugging into. Wish the motherboard back I/O panel just had the one-time connections on it, like on-board display ports, LAN and Wi-Fi etc, and have ALL the regular-use USB ports at the front of the case, perhaps mounted on a standardised size I/O module & panel, connected to a single large socket (or grouping of individual sockets) on the motherboard via a cable/cables. In the meantime, that rotary display stand it was sat on looks like a good temporary fix... just swivel my big-ass PC case around to access the back of it without having to wrestle with it 🥵

Best looking case I've seen in many years and it looks practical too. If I had to change something it would be to make the glass edges round and not sharp. Already put this case as my #1 for this years high end build.

I am curious when we will start seeing ARM motherboards and ARM chips to put in them. As of right now, I think we are only seeing ARM (PC) in the laptops?

I don’t think wall mounting the Project X would be a good I idea. The air flow exhausts out of the top rear through the radiator and the GPU’s airflow which I believe is setup as intake runs through the rear as well. I’m interested to know what the build looks like back there and what the temps would look like.

Removable mobo back panel concept is really2 cool..mobo has so many connectors at the back, why should hide it at the back? I dont like when i had to sneak to the back of my case just to input single usb. I think It should be at the best position depending on the case design.

Project Zero or Back to Front should be limited to ITX motherboards and ITX builds. Cable management is an issue in ITX builds but not for ATX builds. So far, all I see is this feature being supported in ATX motherboards.
