I bought this for around 180K Japanese yen. I've had it for 3 months now and I love it. 80-140 fps in GTA online 130 fps in DayZ 120 fps in dota 2 120 fps in PUBG I also play company of heroes 2 but with some icassional stutters but that's probably the game. It's a great pick considering the price of a single GPU these days.

Im looking at it for abou 188k¥ exactly. Cant decide if go Legion 5pro or this. The 17inch screen gives the edge for me to this. Can I ask you something. Any sudden drops in fps while playing? Does the keyboard feel ok isnt it like some cheap plastic crap? I hear the cpu thermothrottles a lot does it? And did you try cooling pad?

@@bealotcoolerifyoudid7217 I bought it at BicCamera if I'm not mistaken with a price of 200k but they gave a 20k discount plus the option of getting a bag or headphone with it. I'm sure that depends on the retailer but anyway. The screen is pretty okay, I haven't had a proper gaming computer before so to my eyes the 144Hz screen looks pretty good. I don't personally use the keyboard, I bought a separate one but the default option is pretty average, nothing too crazy. I don't use a cooling pad with it. It has really good ventilation however. The rear, the left and almost the entire bottom of the thing has vents but that also helps with dust settling in. It does get a little hot when I play but nothing concerning. No frame drops and stutters hardware related so far. If any has happened it was game related as the games I personally play are pretty outdated by today's standards. I don't exactly remember the exact CPU/GPU temps when playing, but it was on average between 60-70 degree Celsius when in GTA online. Microphone quality however is not good, I could say the same about the speaker but I rarely use it so I could be wrong. Overall for what it is it's doing pretty good for me so far. I do recommend it but there could be better and cheaper options in the market by now.

@@therealsnow i have 11th gen with rtx3070. However the saddest part is that the tdp is only capped at 80watts :( so technically the performance is somewhete between desktop level 3050 and 3060. What a marketing trap. And trust its not because of the heat issues

“THINK TWICE before choosing MSI products due to SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT QUALITY & HIGHLY UNRELIABLE HARDWARE COMPONENTS “ I had purchased MSI Gaming Laptop Pulse GL66, Intel 11th Gen. i7-11800H in the month of July’22 and within a very short time of normal usage, LCD & LVDS display issues were encountered in the month of Oct’22 to which MSI India customer care & service team informed that the entire display unit has to be replaced under warranty. As I have shelled out a huge penny to purchase a 'defect free product' & not a 'defect prone product' and when a manufacturing / product defect is noticed within a short time of usage, I cannot simply accept for a product repair as per MSI policy as currently I have already lost the value for this product since the factory seal has been opened, minor scratches can be noticed post repair, laptop screen open & close feel is completely different from what it was before the repair & finally the factory fit & finish is hampered. As a customer, why should I bear all these losses when there is no fault of mine. It was not a small issue to just let it off & get repaired under warranty, whereas the entire display unit & lvds was kaput within this short-time of usage which questions me on the MSI product quality & reliability and now post warranty repair, the product has lost its value as mentioned above. Note: As per the mail communication, MSI India policy states "As per MSI policy, refund or replacement can be done within 7 working days from the point of purchase. We do have only after repair services only." Also, even if the product defect / fault is from MSI’s end, their policies are in such a way that they are all favorable to the company and not the customer who is at no fault as in my case.
