MSI RTX 3070 Suprim X - spares or repair - will it run again?

Having a borrowed GPU in my personal PC I really needed my own card. I bought this MSI 3070 Suprim from eBay to see if I can revive it and use it for some sweet sweet gaming :)
The cost of the card was £130.

Good repair. Personally, I would prefer to hide that cable a little more. But it is only for aesthetics. I think you are correct in putting that card in a riser vertically. It is a very heavy card. I have one exactly the same with a broken pcb and this special board has a tangle of connections in that part in several layers of the pcb. Very difficult to repair. It even pads under the graphics chip and memories. Because the previous owner decided to connect it directly to the motherboard without holding it with anything. It was a very fun repair LOL

I know what you mean, I do have a black PCB mask, and I could hide the wire better now that the card was working fine for a while, running the latest games for over a week. But this was filmed as I go, so I wanted to make sure nothing else was affected in the area, like the display ports. Now that it is fully tested I'm tempted to hide it.

I am repairing stuff all the time, the trouble is I have no time for video editing lately :( Tried to convince my wife to learn editing but to no avail ;)
