Kinda wish you did a measurement of the Gen 5 SSD space tolerance since gen 5 ssds are notorious for being super hot, and it would be nice to know what the maximum size 3rd party heatsink could fit inside. Some gen 4 SSDs also have options that come with heatsink installed, and having that measurement would be good to know. A 3rd party heatsink alone probably wouldn't be enough for a gen 5 ssd, so a list of recommended laptop cooler pads for this size would also be nice as a high recommendation add for anyone wanting to run a gen 5 SSD and maintain good machine health without risk of destroying it from the naive mistake of installing something without precaution just because it fits, and then having the laptop melt from heat overload. Maybe you do this in a later video? thx :) I'm personally worried the only solution to run a gen 5 SSD without breaking this expensive machine would mean cutting a heatsink-shaped hole on the bottom of the laptop case to allow for a full sized heatsink with the laptop leaning on an elevated degree. ... but, yeah, questions regarding Gen 5, heatsink sizes allowed, laptop cooler pad recommendations ... these would be excellent and informative things to know before buying, and same questions will be a good things to know when the Raider 18 HX is released and probably more so since that does not have the new vapor chamber system the Titan does.

Good to know there are 3rd party heat sinks &&&, SSD's that come with 1...I'd like to know those dims too, as the Titan would have the most space out of the 3 new 18" ops MSI has this year with Intel 14th gen processor.

Again, as nice as the laptop is it has a lot of excellent features about it and you’re getting a lot of them for the price you’re paying but one thing they lack is not dealing with a better screen design it has a lower refresh rate in the screen from last year 144hz dropping to 120hz, no g-sync, no variable refresh rate and as great as the 4k 120hz Mini LED panel is it won’t be as colour accurate for productive work as a laptop like the Asus Strix Scar 18’ with the multi zone and one zone switch for Mini LED in their Armoury crate software which makes a huge difference in productive work when you switch it to one zone and has 2048 dimming zones on the scar so less blooming when it is in multi zone hdr mode unlike the Titan which has 1024 dimming zones the 18’ scar 2024 model also has g-sync, advanced Optimus and a 240hz refresh rate in the best colour accurate mini LED screen you can get right now as no other brands implement a multi zone and one zone switch like Asus in their software also they removed the display port from last years model and the cherry mx switches now are only on the keyboard area (not on the number pad or arrow keys) so if you can deal with all these drawbacks than get it if you want but I personally wouldn’t for the price you’re paying you’d expect a good screen with no issues.

I'm still curious how an 11th gen i7-1165G7 (max 4.7Ghz) beats the i9-14900HX (max 5.8Ghz) in cinebench's single core tests ... that also implies working in C4D viewports (not rendering) will be much better / faster w the i7-1165G7 since the viewport performance is also based off single core operations.

I only need an 18-inch 4K screen. As for the keyboard and touchpad, I don’t have much demand, so I chose raider18hx. It reduces the heat dissipation of the vapor chamber and the power consumption of 20w. Of course, the price is much cheaper. It is higher than GE78HX and lower than TAITAN18HX. It is a better choice.

We are resellers for Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and Sager and not sponsor by anyone. All of our testing are straight out of the box with no driver or softwares optimization, just out of the box. If the score you see on our video is the score users gonna get. Manufacturers will fine tune the performance usually after the first shipment as usual but that's sometimes in the future.

MSI is the worst. I had to send my laptop in for a corrupted gpu. When I got it back they forgot to put the battery back in and left me without a battery. Never again.
