μSKY ～ Most common way～ From Central Japan International Airport → To Nagoya station

Usually my friend from Gifu meets me at this airport and we go to Gifu together, but this time I wanted to save my friend the trip and go to Gifu myself. This video served my needs perfectly. I made it to the ticket machine just as the video showed, and it me about 30 seconds to select and purchase the ticket - again, thanks to the video and clear text explanation. Making it onto the train, I felt a sense of relief and accomplishment. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make this video and put it online - I may still be walking around the airport aimlessly had it not been for your helpful video :)

If you are not sure, from meitetsu nagoya, go west gate, go up escalator, possibly turn right, and use google map, and that should be very close.

I believe if you go to the ticket staff counter, they sell manaca to you. Specifically the Chubb airport station at access plaza. I read this from a Reddit post, and the Meitetsu web confirmed that you can purchase manaca from”Stations with ticket staff” during operation hours ofc

There are escalators available, especially for west gate at meitetsu Nagoya. But if you are asking for lift, then I’m not so sure, but i believe there is.

I checked the timetable, but I can't find the 7:24 express train. . but, μSky departs from platform 1. Other limited express trains, ,,,rapid trains, express trains, and semi-express trains and more depart from Platforms 2 and 3. Directions are displayed on the electronic bulletin board immediately after entering the ticket gate.

Hello, How can you tell which direction the train is on platform? I am using google maps, but not sure which direction for Nagoya Trains. Thanks.

You can find the direction by looking at the destination sign. If you search for directions on Google Maps, it will tell you to take the train bound for XX and tell you the train's destination. Was my reply too late? Sorry.

@@mogtrader8 I see. There are not many stations where trains with multiple destinations (directions) stop at the same platform. So if the train times on Google Maps are the same as the times on the platform bulletin board, I think you can be sure that it's the train you want to take. But if you're unsure, I recommend asking a station staff member or someone around you. At Meitetsu Nagoya Station, trains with multiple destinations stop at the same platform, so it's best to ask a station staff member. There are always station staff there. (Meitetsu Nagoya Station is famous for being a station where trains with multiple destinations stop, making it difficult to know which train to take.)

Central Japan ? Centrair? No, Chubu Int’l Airport! Most commonly used term is Chubu. The words such as Central Japan are never used even among Japanese

Thank you for pointing out. As you say, the most common way to call it in Japanese is "Chubu International Airport". The name "Centrair" is used by the locals. It is not widely used in Japan. . Japanese people don't call it "Central Japan International Airport", but this is the official name of the English version.
