They were decent, I'd never complain about them as they were great at talking about what's going on, but they really don't have the personality that the bigger names do. I can see what's going on for myself. For me, Rod at let's make big moves saying "hit'em with the patreon" about Paul's fair had me cracking up and that's what I enjoy in my commentary. It's up to personal taste though

They´ll just shoot themselves in their feet (similar to Tweek dropping Wario). I hope Void goes back to refining his Sheik instead.

Also as a Joker main, everyone and their mother picking up Joker means that everyone knows the matchup now too, which makes it an even WORSE idea to pick him up. I think only Leo, Zackray, Eon, and a few other top players should be sticking with the character rn, although using him as a counterpick (like Nairo did against Olimar) is probably more valid for the rest of the pack

If VoiD wants to play more of Joker, I know that he can be very successful with him. Joker is one of the few characters in Ultimate that can excel in many play styles. MkLeo, Tweek, and Zackray’s Jokers are all drastically different and all of them have gotten good results.

I need to see elegant use cyclone less because in some situations he gets punished for it, use it only for mix ups for landing, getting back on stage, and combo breaking on ground and in air. He also needs to up smash out of shield and when opponents miss grabs because that turn around half jab in game 3 was not it. Elegant needs to use up smash more than cyclone because void was playing closer to Luigi and it's a good option rather than just cyclone

The sad part is that Joker is really close to not being broken. B-air, Rebels Guard, how fast the meter grows, a ton of multi-hit moves, moves that reset and drag-down, TETRAKARN He just needs things adjusted a little bit so that he isn’t such a consistent monster once you get his attacks down

Hated joker for a while but if luigis can tough out matches then it's probably not that bad, I think the part that gets people is Jokers constant access to multiple but minor options that lead to 60% strings at any point

Moss ' “Joker is really close to not being broken” Yoshis can be good against Fox in Melee but that doesn’t make Fox any less technical and powerful. Jokers tools are good against a majority of the cast. Multi-hits alone make a character stronger due to things like parrying, ryu/Ken focus attack, super-armor, and hell even Rebels Guard. But on top of that, Joker has an easy edgeguard with tetrakarns size and lasting hitbox, which invalidates many up-b’s. As well as rebels guard being a 3 frame instant super armor that makes him stronger, without nearly as much commitment as someone like Inceniroar. His gimp ability, as well as almost all his aerials being kills with Arsene. A literal poison, and with how fast he can move, along with having guns means he has an easy keepaway game. And I don’t think Void was using his tools as he should. He let him get away with tornado way more times than he should, especially when he could’ve abused tetrakarn and rebels guard more, and he also engaged with him more often than he should have. Campy will win sets more often. You know what though? Plenty of other characters have similar tools. It’s just that Joker has all of them. And he has many weaknesses too, he’s not a god or anything. But he’s just barely broken, and once the meta develops further, unless at least one tool is nerfed, he’ll only continue to grow in popularity, and in slow defensive gameplay.

@@ClassicBentobox I don't think Jokers multi hits are a big advantage. While they do beat focus, other super armor works just fine against them. For other stuff, I'd just say it's a case of learning the matchup. I play shiek and just like fighting any other character with a counter, you have to slow down (with your combos, etc) to prepare to punish it in case it's used. As for arsene, while it can come by pretty fast, it can disappear just as fast, and again I play shiek. People tend to instantly become defensive, which simply doesn't work, you should stay agressive but you should also be careful. Leo's the only too level joker player, so it's probably not a matchup everyone gets to practice often but personally I think when more players adjust, they'll do better against him

You prolly figured this out of if you run away from the ledge, and then flick your movement stick back towards the ledge, you do this really long turnaround animation. If you hold a and b during that animation (it's kinda strict) then you won't run off the ledge for whatever reason.

You have to have A+B smash attack on, you press and hold A+B in the middle of a skid turnaround. The smash attack won't come out and you'll sticky ledge run until you let go of A+B :)

Right because that back air shouldn't have hit because the hitbox was still active. Side b for Luigi as a whole should be buffed since his recovery is so bad. Pikachu and pichu essentially have the exact same move property, yet theirs go way futher. Their uncharged sibe b goes further than misfire and that's not okay. It needs to go further and it needs more priority or super armor
