Jeja uses final cutter really well for the most part, but I think he should combo into and use inhale more. Fire Breath gives Kirby a giant disjoint that can deal over 40% because of the 1.2* damage copy multiplier. Kirby also doesn’t give up his shield pressure that inhale gives him because Fire Breath is amazing vs shield.

it is alright to have flame breath, it is only for edgeguards cause of tough guy

@@kraknz1169 Tough guy doesn't affect flame breath at any point at any %. Flame breath does have a hitbox at the edge of the move that doesn't cause any flinching, but that isn't due to tough guy. That happens against any character. The move is still fantastic in neutral due to its effectiveness against shields and its giant range. If the Bowser is playing defensively and walling Kirby out, Flame Breath can be insanely heplful. Also, it is amazing for edgeguarding, just like you said. Even if Bowser's up-b beats it out, it will 2 frame and deal ~40%. It is also really good for ledgetrapping.

@@kraknz1169 Well tough guy is based on knockback, not damage. Flame breath has enough knockback to beat tough guy. The 4% armor comes from his f-tilt. His smash attacks also have % based armor, but their threshold is different.

I actually think my fire breaths got me punished more than they got me damage, I think I rely on it a little too much in neutral, but I completely agree with your other observations.

fire breath is a good tool to cheat neutral, but later in the set it gets a little old and slow, fair and grab openings work vs kirby so theres room for mixup

FinaLBoss is in Kansas City right now and he's been as high as #2 on our PR. I've played a few friendlies with him and he is really, really damn good. hope to see him at the top of more tournaments in the future, too!

I imagine it's just a commentator's habit. It's better not to assume in general, so even if he knows Jeja and FinalBoss, be's probably used to not knowing since he commentates a lot of matches where he doesn't know. It's also probably not worth wasting the brainpower on to try to remember if he does know for particular people, so just falls back on neutral language to keep up the commentary.
