Walken is an amazing actor - utterly mesmerizing in 'The Deer Hunter', 'King of New York' and 'Pulp Fiction' amongst many others. Along with Harvey Keitel and Gene Hackman, one of the finest actors of the last fifty years. To learn he was an EVEN better dancer than actor after first seeing Fatboy Slim's 'Weapon of Choice' was an eye opener. But this list is nothing without Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off), Dan Ackroyd (The Blues Brothers) and Tom Cruise (Pour Some Sugar on Me)..... IMHO of course :)

Where is john travolta & kevin bacon?! Patrick Swayze way way way too low & Daniel craig (although delicious) is too high!

I mean, it’s one thing to know how to dance and another to do a choreographed dance for a movie. Yes, some of them can dance, but definitely mot all on this list.
@rebeccac.l.56017 ай бұрын
Yeah especially if it's a pre-existing dance, like Thriller.

Some people aren't really good at choreography either. I will say some of these, like Jenifer Garner, are fun but not smooth

Didn't he have a stand-in though for the last scene, a gay dancer, who later died of AIDS (Before they had effective treatment for AIDS)?

I dunno, man… I think he just kind of jumps around in that movie, I was disappointed by the lack of dancing in that movie. Ironically.

People mention Patrick Swayze like this is some revelation; what about Jennifer Grey? Her father was a professional actor/singer/dancer, but she apparently didn't grow up in studios, as Swayze did. It may be hype, but her story is she wasn't that into dance before Baby (although she did study it at the arts school she attended.)
@marthapackard86493 ай бұрын
Seems like they didn't bother mentioning the women these men were dancing with. I thought maybe because they all had dance training earlier in their careers...until they brought up Patrick Swayze. He was basically a dancer that became an actor so I guess that's not it.🤨

Alfonzo Ribiero has been dancing for a while. When he was a child actor on Silver Spoons among other things, he was known for dancing. Even was picked to dance with Michael in a Pepsi commercial.

She was told to come up with a dance early in the production. She told the funny story, that (the director?), said to her, ‘I know you’ve probably been working on the dance’..- ah- ! Very close to the scene, she did give it thought! Wow, she more than succeeded with a signature “Wednesday “.
