I would've always liked to see more from Lorelai and Rory's life when they first moved to Stars Hollow. The last scene where she tells Rory that she's goinf to get her own room, they look more like sisters than mother and daughter and Lorelai looks jarringly young. I think more scenes like that could further impress the fact that Lorelai was so young when she was raising Rory and she wasn't the confident 32 year old we see when we first meet them. I think it would've helped to sell their struggle even more.

I think the flash backs would’ve been a nice bookend, coming in the same season as “Dear Emily and Richard”.

The deleted scene of Lane wouldnt have saved her character. I started skipping over Lanes storylines after she develops a crush Zack. It just became too sad to watch

Seeing how things didn’t improve for her in a year in the life was rather depressing, although realistic I guess

Yep, they completely screwed lane over and then they screwed Rory over in GGYITL, by not letting her grow and having her keep making the same mistakes 😔 I understand her falling from grace, we all do at some point. The problem is she never learned anything and kept hurting people.

I wished that they'd kept the Christopher scene as well, it was nice to see him turn up and show that he cared about Rory.

Ahhh!! Now I'm sad that we didn't get to see the number 1. Would have been amazing to see. Never seen a flashback of Rory with Lorelei when she was young.... Damn!!

I shipped Dave with Lane ❤ . I never really liked her with Zach. I liked that Dave conspired with her in the ruse it was fast talking and covert 😅. Also, I thought the hospital scene ; I thought it was cute and heartwarming. Thirdly, I liked the movie theater scene just because Rory says it’s in the nicer establishments.😊
