This is going to spark a slew of civil lawsuits against the rioters that were pardoned. Pardons only protect you from federal charges, not state or civil charges. The families of those who were harmed and killed on January 6th can still sue for damages, and DC can sue them as well. The pardon just absolve them of federal prosecution. I would suggest DC research whether or not they violated state law and file suite if they did. The same for January 6th, families and those officers and bystanders who were hurt should file a civil suit against rioters that were pardoned
