Bob Ferguson, our former three term AG, was sworn in as governor this week. As AG, he fought hard for our state (and others) and never backs down or out. As a SoCal Native now transplanted to the Pacific Northwest by way of Poulsbo/Bainbridge Island, WA (Jay Inslee’s hometown area). I am proud to say Jay Inslee and now Bob Ferguson are wonderful leaders and they understand the threat of climate change. Gavin Newsom has been doing a wonderful job of taking care of my old hometown. I always keep tabs on what is going on down there. I still have friends and family living down there. Every fire season it always amazes me on how much damage has been inflicted. Those Santa Ana winds are no joking matter. They are nasty and wicked. They are not like ordinary winds. They blow straight from the desert so the winds are nothing but heat. There is no relief from them even at the beach. Now, when Newsom reports that January is an unusual time for these winds to blow, he is telling the truth. Normally, SoCal gets clouds and rain in January, never Santa Ana winds. This is HIGHLY UNUSUAL. I have never seen or witnessed them in January and I’m 50 years old and my parents can say the same thing and they are in their 80’s. This is CLIMATE CHANGE. I can also say what the West Coast is experiencing is drought related. SoCal is a drought prone county. Los Angeles county alone is one of the largest counties in the country. If you can imagine the Vatican City in Italy, which is already an overpopulated city, surviving on a single water source and that source has not been updated to today’s water standards. What would happen if you expanded the boundaries of the city to include the entire population of Italy and not add another water source? There would be a severe water shortage. The system could not handle the amount of water being pumped out. The pressure would be low and hardly no water. This is the current situation in SoCal. In Washington state, we are experiencing a drought. The state has been experiencing less snowfall in the mountains and less rain. Washington winters have been extremely dry and cold with little to no rain/snow. For the government to reject giving aid to those in states with Democratic governors is unacceptable and unconstitutional. It’s called blackmail. I’m not changing my vote for a Republican. I think if they want to play that kind of game, then I don’t think the Deep South or Florida needs help when the next hurricane hits them. It’s fair game. If they want to dish it out then let them eat it as well. I think someone needs to point that out to the idiots now in charge.

Trump has always ran his business by not paying contractors. He would always have a reason. Something they did that he didn't like even though they completed the work as agreed. Many couldn't afford to sue and those that did try ended up settling or run out of money on attorneys fees. He doesn't want to help people that didn't vote for him, even though our taxes pay him and Congress, so he makes up excuses. The most vindictive and soulless person!
