The song at the end she is playing is "Andro" by Faun, a German pagan folk band. It is on their Licht album, but they have "Andro II" on their newest album Von den Elben that has the same rift. Great band. I will have to check out Eluveitie.
@xxDEATHUNLIMITEDxx10 жыл бұрын
Actually it is a Breton folk dance.

Nice! I've rarely seen a gurdy with 4 melody strings, though I can see why it can be useful if you play in a band. No need to retune the melody strings according to the song, just put on a different melody string when you need it :) It's incredible that she only had been playing for 3 months when she joined the band, she's really talented. Go Anna!

I was at Irving Plaza the day this was recorded. I went for Amon Amarth Twighlight of the Thunder God tour II and Eluveitie and holy grail opened for amon amarth. Hated holy grail...but i love eluveitie way more than amon amarth since that day. Their music also makes me think of home..although they are from Switzerland America is much different than Ireland.

@juckexD Almost right. In Germany we say "Drehleier". "Drehorgel" are those organ pipes with wheels you see very often in Amsterdam or on special medieval markets

I knew how the band's name is pronounced since I heard the song UIS ELVETI ( I speak Spanish and the way is written in the song is how we read it in Spanish) In both versions of this song they say the name of the Band ( the album Spirit and Ven (remastered). hehehe. Love this band, I love Anna Murphy.

@fha64 Well...there probably are hurdy-gurdy builders in your country too...then its cheaper i guess...i found hurdy gurdy builder from e.g. Hungary making also nice instruments for a lot cheaper price. But the price i wrote is for the standard model..im sure she has the luxury-model for like 500 euro more. Those instruments have a lot of technical stuff inside making it expensive.watch gotschy.com ...there is a price list

It's sad but that is true. He thinks just because he goes to a few shows and listens to a few songs that blends with his stoner metal tunes, he thinks he's a super fan. I don't care if he thinks he's the bloody queen of England. I'm just a fan that loves the music and the flavourful culture they express. That's all. I might like other bands but Eluveitie is an awesome band that deserve to flourish like they have.

I'm from America and live in America. I hate it here. I plain moving to either Finland or Japan after college with my wife and daughter who will probably be about six years old then (december 10th is when she is supposed to arrive) I love the culture of the northern European pagan nations. I like their music, I like their government, I like their art and I like their society. I myself am a Christian but don't attend church because I hate what it does and I don't make the bible my ultimate and only source. Rock on Eluveitie
