Msondo Ngoma, Swahili rumba live in Dar Es Salaam

When Afropop Worldwide visited Dar Es Salaam in February 2023, the nights were filled with non-stop live music. One of the most impressive groups we saw was Msondo Ngoma, the longest running live band in the country. It's gone by different names and seen generations of players come and go, but the band has never stopped. And the performance shows the result.
