This is a trick antique dealers use for display items that are missing hardware. Make a resin mold of your wardrobe handle. Use the real handle on the right side. Add a tassel to the left side resin handles. That will remind anyone not to pull to hard on them. You are so good at DIY and painting. I am certain you can paint the resin molded handles to match the real ones. Should cost you under $25.00 to make all three, Your style is so lovely. Your creativity Is inspirational and your joyful personality is infectious. You always brighten my day.

My mom has purchased framed art from antique shops through the years and has always taped the receipt on the back. So now I know what shop she purchased them from and how much she paid but also the year that she purchased them. I agree that having this history on the back is fun to reference .

The wardrobe handles!! I think an affordable solution would be to put a pair of the originals in the centre and remove the third one. You’re very good at finding complementary pieces so find two more pairs of handles that match each other. This way you you honour the original French handles and still make a functional unit. The dressing room is lovely as is too.

I would paint your door the colour of your wall where the exact pattern of wallpaper would go, and put the wallpaper over the door straight on and then little extra pieces from the paper to match pattern on the sides of the door trim etc (the 3D sides) to fit in.

I have a white porcelain vitrine that would look amazing on that mural wall. White ironstone on a mahogany board. Got it at an estate sale on Long Island's North Shore (Gatsby country) it is MUCH bigger than I expected and I don't know what I am going to do with it!. I have a metal one that is much more my taste (Boho) - going to paint it in that rusty paint.
