MSR Elixir 1 tried and tested

I took this opportunity to use the Elixir 1 in wet and windy conditions, it was a new purchase and I've been looking forward to getting out in it.
Although I have the groundsheet and this tent has the ability to pitch outer first there are a few more considerations to take into account and ultimately its an inner pitch first tent.
I'd been used to the convenience of the Vango Banshee up until now which pitches inner and outer in one go so this was going to be interesting.
All in all it was a great trip and some challenging weather conditions to try the tent in and ticking off a few Wainwright's along the way enjoying some time to ourselves in the great outdoors.
