This is just what I've been looking for. I never looked at Pleasure Way because i knew the brand was too expensive to fall within my budget. Last week, the sales person helping me hunt for the best RV match for me called and said HURRY!...that her sister dealership in Florida had a "Show Stopper" special about to be posted. It was this van for $69,900. THAT met my budget and appeared to be everything I needed. So here I am reading and searching for all I can on the model I put my money down to hold until I get to Florida next week.

Hello Souette, So glad you found the right RV for you and good luck with the purchase. Thanks for Watching!

That price is amazing, but we bought a new Class C for that same price last year. Only thing is, it’s too big for me to drive, though all the space is absolutely great! I hate why these Class B’s have to be so expensive! If it was cheaper, more like $60,000 or less, and they figured out a portable tent shower/toilet solution, I would probably buy this one. I really need something short and a lot cheaper.

We are looking in Florida also for exactly this vehicle. Do you mind sharing what dealer helped you to find the Tofino Pleasure Way? Thanks!
@gerryc2702 жыл бұрын
Nice video! I have owned a Tofino since this past summer. I am a lifelong tent camper and the older I get, the less I want to sleep on the ground. Coming from this perspective, the van has been awesome. I have a bed, heat, a sink, cooking ability - all within the van. We use it in the mountains - no need for AC - and USB fans have proven just fine for us. Port-a-potty is all we need and don't have to deal with black tank issues. It looks like a regular van, easily parks anywhere and costs way less than a fully equipped Class B. Lithium power and solar is fine for days without hookups. If you come from a history of tent camping, this is a huge step up and a worth the cost for Pleasure Way quality (although I paid quite a bit less than the $85,150 noted). It is a fantastic van but certainly not for everyone.

We bought a slightly used Pleasure way back in 2000. Had it since and its still running strong. They are build in Canada so I always felt they had more insulation for the extreme temps. We are tempted to get a brand new Sequence or Tellaro but will wait for now

I would LOVE a SHORT RV like this if only it had a take down shower tent that had a bottom holding pan (like a perfect size black square, plastic rabbit pan) near the back seat and sink, with a hole near the bottom and a tube for gray water to escape to the outside camp drain. It could have water hosed from the kitchen sink for the shower and the tent standing in front of the side door inside the camper, with the tent door facing the back of the camper. A portable potty could be hidden under the back couch and be easily pulled out into the tent before taking a shower. Everyone uses the toilet and shower in the morning at the same time in privacy, and everyone’s 😊 happy till you leave to go go somewhere. No running around unhooking everything outside, and hunting for a shower house. You can get the shower tents on EBay , put them up and take them down in a jiffy. My problem would be having a tight connection on the sink and also where the hole would connect to the the drain tube with a tight connection. I’m no construction person, but it seems to be an easy solution to me. Any suggestions? Anyone have another solution? It looks like plenty of room in there to have a take down tent in front of the sink.

I've never seen a "cheap" pleasure way so I was intrigued by one that is only 85K. I still drive my full-size 1999 class B pleasureway excell TW. Without a bathroom, this would eliminate a lot of people, especially me. Your videos are helping me decide on our next new class B. Pretty much settling on a thor sequence or tellero. Seems like all of the lower price Class B's are on a Dodge Promaster chassis for some reason.

@@amiralions2681 Just curious as we've been RVing for over 30 years and I can only think of a couple occasions where a 4 x 4 would come in handy. It was during snow storms in the Tahoe area. A pair of chains worked for us. We don't go way off road but do use rustic campgrounds often. With $6 gas a 4x4 is another gas-guzzling feature.
@jasonlucas23282 жыл бұрын
@@philc.9280 I work remotely full time. Usually, I go snowboarding a couple of months a year. I rent Airbnb, but it becomes expensive when it has good snow. I plan to buy a 4 x 4 class B so I can park close to the slope early in the morning. I can save a lot of money on hotels. I prefer a cassette toilet because it can function during the snow.
