Taranis QX7 - Setting up switches

I got a new emax tiny hawk freestyle and I was having trouble but thanks to this video It made everything a lot easier thank you man. Now I can bind it and it can fly

Same here! But I am still super confused I need some major help! My controller is set to ARM and it works so I am able to fly (just not the best). How can I put my TinyHawk into a more beginner mode like Horizon (if that’s possible)? Which leads me to my next question. If I set a switch to do what I want like (horizon mode or turtle mode or whatever etc) how does that switch KNOW that’s what it’s for? Does that make sense? I was also able to connect my drone to BetaFlight...but my controller did not work on BetaFlight. Any help would be awesome I am so lost. I’ve been flying Traxxas drones my whole life but this stuff makes no sense to me! Oh and when I was flying last night...every time my drone landed upside down after a crash it just when FULL Throttle by it self!!

@@900Redshark you have to setup the modes in Betaflight. You have to tell Betaflight the switch and what position.

FPV_EvilMunkey Ok I’ll look into that more. Do you happen to know why the drone goes full power when it crashes or flips on its back? Or is that something that could be anything and I just need to figure it out myself? Thanks for your time.

@@900Redshark you might have air mode turned on permanently make sure that is turned off and set to a aux switch

I know this is a old video, but I have a ? I'm using a Taranis Q7X on Liftoff and cannot get the switches to take, using the sim's controller interface. I'm not using Beta Flight and prefer not too.Rather not learn another piece of software at age 70....The ? is, will the input screen do the job, or is the mix page also necessary for the sim to see the switches. Can you do a video on the tools. I was suprised to find the taranis qx7 access has a spectrum analyzer. And was wondering if OpenTx offers other tools. And also a demo on calibrating the joysticks and switches would be helpful.

My opentx is mode2 TAER and my QX7 trainer mode source is channel order TAER, but my mixer and inputs channel order is AETR. When I try to change the AETR to TAER, it throws off the channel mapping in beta flight.

Hey dude, I need help. I have a Taranis Q X7 controller, which worked perfectly for months. But a problem just appeared, when the sticks are centered, it shows on the screen that they are actually not, they're at about a 2.5 degree angle, both of them. This affects flying pretty badly, do you know how I could fix this ?

I usually don't bind more than 1. I have done it on Tiny Whoops with D8 but that's it otherwise mine are all separate. You can also bind to multiples with Crossfire

The SD card is what stores all the sounds you want to use

No ACRO or Rate modes show in the mode adjustment in BETAFLIGHT or INAV . Very confusing . Maybe show after you set that 3 position switch on how to setup in Betaflight .

You won't see Rate or Acro. There is Angle which is Stability mode. Horizon, and also Air Mode

I try to see my qx7 ...I had no idea still i play with my radio nd try to practice how to celect switch ...sir I make a switch name arm nd then don't know wht I did but so many lines come into arm switch ..I think I did mess with arm swich now I want to delete that arm switch I created ...but transmiter not give me option to delete chanel ... Sir pls help me how to delete any chanel if I did mistake .... ? Hope I eble to explain my problem .... Any way to undo a newly created chanel ? Delete channel ?
