Congrats Vivian Jonhson, we have the same memories about that song , we also plan to have this song in our golden anniversary also in march 2025 but sad to say it will not happen she pass away just last year september 10 2021, instead i played for her in her 1st death anniversary. In March 1971, I was an 18 yo in the US Navy stationed in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. I was so homesick I couldn't stand myself. I didn't want to eat or leave my room the first few weeks I was there. My roommate had the album with 'Color My World' and I played it over and over and over in my misery. Thankfully, I eventually snapped out of my funk and realized I was in a beautiful country with lots of exploring to undertake. I still have a special place in my heart for this song.
