It is good to see you visit places in Mindanao that I, myself, have not been to. It is, indeed, informative and entertaining. Keep vlogging, Marshall.

Amazing vlog as always! Being so brave as well and giving us the first-person view of the ground zero plus the Maranaws culture. MSU btw was one of the best University in the Phils before. Being the only Islamic University I believe. The horror of 2017 was again felt last year when another bombing occured inside the Campus. But perhaps a glimmer of hope to revive the vibrancy of the City is not far away based to what you shared with us. Thank you buddy Marshall.

Fantastic to see this vid. My wife graduated from MSU Marawi. Also members of our family lived and worked in the MSU Campus when the trouble started. They were locked down in there for about two weeks before they could get out safely.

Hi Marshall. I don't think we'll be visiting Marawi anytime soon, but my wife does have a cousin who went to MSU in Marawi. However, that was 20 years ago, before all the nonsense started.
@ziggarillo3 ай бұрын
This "nonsense" has been going on for years. Abu Sayyaf have been active since 1989. The Moro Islamic front was active before them from 1977.

@@ziggarillo Yeah, you're correct, unfortunately.

Really? Qatar, U.A.E, Saudi are Islamic yet it's a top tourist destinations. Before you open your Islamophobic, bigoted and disgusting mouth, learn some world events.

It's not cultural reasons why she didn't like being in the video. It's islamic reason.

If you got hostage by these muslims, don't blame anyone but yourself.
@ziggarillo3 ай бұрын
The hostages are mostly taken in Manila these days. Abductions are far more common in the US
