The one port that retained the arcade opening. The only other version that did, the Oretachi Geasen PS2 version, which is just the arcade version emulated on a disc, put out by Hamster.

The X68000 had the complete opening, and the PC98 had more or less what the MSX version had as well.

@@MarcBarkyMarta I'd almost hate to call the X68K a port, as that is usually the guts of arcade games, Capcom usually loved working with the X68000 for it's CPS1 games. Matter of fact, a LOT of X68K arcade ports are pretty much spot on. Have not seen the PC98 version of this game at all though. Edit: Just saw a video of the PC98 intro, and boy oh boy is it a lot grainier and slow, that PC was better for things like graphical visual novels. The music for games for the PC98 though, are fantastic (the right way to do FM Synth).

@@Bloodreign1 even with Capcom using the X68K as a dev box, the machine architecture is pretty different from the Quarth arcade game, specifically that the arcade game ran on an 8-bit CPU with different video hardware. So it's still a very accurate port. And yeah, I totally hear you on the PC98 game. But considering the platform, it still came out pretty well.
