the MSX corner is uh... pretty inaccurate? It's SD Snatcher not the original and you're not emulating the SCC sound cart, making it sound awful.

That's so hard to choose with one is the best one :) I love Sega CD version for perfect voice acting and fact I can understood it while Saturn/PSX got better graphics. Also each version got some small minor changes like gore elements, nudity or random characters in bar, or even one small part in ending.

I should or could do an intro remake of this one 1 day. BTW, the MSX2 version played only the PSG sound without the SCC.

WTF version of MSX you have posted? This is SD Snatcher. There is The Snatcher original game for MSX2

la versión de Msx2 no es la correcta, para msx2 existe Snatcher (que es el que debería estar en la imagen) y SD Snatcher que es un ActionScript RPG único para MSX2. En SD Snatcher konami uso SCC+ y su banda sonora es magistral, pare que falta el Scc+ que era un cartcuho que acompañaba a los disquetes y que aportaba RAM y el chip de sonido SCC+. la comparación no es del todo correcta pero aún así gracias por el vídeo. le sigo 🙂

Why does only the Sega CD version have the conversation between Jamie and Gillian before he gets picked up to report to Junker HQ? Are there any other story-related things like that in the Sega CD version or any other versions that don't appear in the others?

Oh I figured it out. It's from the comic that comes in the manual to the game (both English and Japanese versions) and for whatever reason it was added into the intro of the game of the Sega CD version.

You know that you can use the light gun on an CRT TV with the Mega/SEGA CD on the shooting sections? Also, supposedly the SEGA/Mega CD version is the only one that isn't censored.

Sega CD version censored nudity, Gillian was much more of a pervert in the PC engine version and aged up Karina. The PC engine is the least censored version.

the pc-88 version is not snatcher. it is an rpg following the same story called sd snatcher

Great idea, but please make another movie with the correct MSX version. This is SD Snatcher (without the SCC sound), meaning SUPER DEFORMED Snatcher, hence the big heads.

Go back and redo the MSX version what ever you are emulating it on is not using the SCC (sound creative chip) and without it, it sounds awful as it is missing a full 5 channels. The MSX whilst utilising the SCC sounds amazing.

The sound of the msx2 version it's incomplète. The scc cartridge change the sound.

The msx2 version is totally wrong: ENGLISH VERSION (CUSTOM) and NO SCC Sound enabled !!! only PSG ... bad song !!
