Mt Adams Southside (Lunch Counter Approach) Climb in One day.
After summiting a handful of other Cascade peaks including Mt Hood, Mt Shasta, and South Sister - Mt Adams was next on the list. In this first T2 Expeditions episode we climb the Southside route via Cold Springs and the South Spur of Mt Adams to the summit at 12,280'.

Nice. My son and I went up and down in a day this year on July 2nd. Sunny day with lots of snow on the mountain. Fun day.

Completed climb, did 2 days. 1 day to countertop and 2nd day to summit and back to cool springs campground. Not alot of snow this year which made it tough due to loose rock and scree. 9-15-23

thanks - this is great - One question - how bad was the drive to the trail head. I can see its a bit rough. Doesn't look too bad. You dont need high clearance or all wheel correct?

If you call it an expedition channel, you might have the common sense to put your crampons on without having to walk on rocks.
