Mt. Baker, Canyon run

I never liked the Canyon run after they started running a groomer down it making 4-5’ tall vertical walls. Back in the day you waited for the big dump days so that the avi’s would slide down from above and create large wedges that were perfect side hits with pillowy landings, on some of them the transition was 20-30’ up the canyon. Recently watched a 20 year anniversary on Jamie Lynn (PNW ripper) and in the video he talks about the same thing in the video.

I remember when it was spurs all the way down the canyon. You had to ski up the walls & switch back all the way down. Looks like a kiddie run now.
