I rarely use GoPro, only if water is involve. Most times I use Sony Alpha 6400 with matching Sigma 16mm. But this time I just roll with my old iPhone 12 Pro Max. I just maximized the capabilities.

Completed the hike today. most of the snow has since melted and turned into slick ice and slush over and over each night. micro spikes absolutely required. Saw so many people just wearing running shoes and not having trekking poles. I have no idea how there hasn't been any serious injuries every 10 minutes. I will be going again safely after next snowfall to happen soon. Weather forecasts as of right now say weekend will be chance of snow but become light showers, so possibly wont be safe

Right on! Yeah, I’ve seen Brent’s post every time and it looked like the snow at summit had melted away. There’s a quote I read.. “Why the wrong people travel while the right ones stay home?” Hopefully, we will not have any accident this year.. be safe always.
