I went there for the first time with a bunch of friends. Had a great day. Lessons and instructors are awesome. I recommend hiring your equipment from nearby town. We spent 3 hours just to get our stuff. It was really busy!

As someone from WA a 10 hour drive is nothing. 1 day driving in 1 driving home. Not even particularly hard until its 14+ hours in a day. Its 3-5 days of 10 hours for us in Perth. Going to perisher this year again. Pricing up buller/mansfield seems like half the price of perisher/jyndabine maybe thats the one for next year.

I agree, people from WA are used to driving 3-8hour trips. I’ve made many.

Buller is definitely the weakest of the vic resorts, bet it won’t even have snow in 20 years. It would be a great resort if there was consistent snow conditions.

Valid points, I think their snowmaking systems will keep them running but it’s sad when a large portion of the resort is closed mid season.
