I'm 74 years old. When I was 17 years old, my mother who belonged to the rosicrucian fellowship as a probationer, set me to summer school there and I stayed in the guesthouse. However the cost was expensive for my parents, and my mother was able to arrange for me to stay in the dormitory instead of one of the guest rooms. From what I've since read online, I gather this was the dormitory that was used by the nurses when they used showers for healing. I remember that there were different rooms that had only a curtain for a door and inside each room was a single bed and a dresser of some kind. I remember seeing all the showers with no doors or any privacy from the rest of the room and I would bathe there. There was also a sink out in the hallway area of the dormitory. I would love to see the inside now to see if the dormitory is still there as it was or if they demolished it.

Dan Carr Rosicrucian Oceanside was decades ahead. They established everything from Meditation, Vegetarian and Prays. Sounds familiar to New Age Vega Life Style. Interesting!
The founder was a man from Germany who studied the Occult, he's name was Max Heindel, he's the video with impotartant links -kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3a7ZGV_haeehqM

Charles Bannerman Notice at 04:25 what seems to be former structures and as I went further I found some type of fountain. There's is no record of this location.

Charles Bannerman yeh, that's the way I feel about a majority of California's cities and suburbs. Take a trip up to New England some time, everything's generally more crisp and clean, really nice but cold in the winters. The Fellowship uses the guest house for living quarters for a couple of the property care takers, as well as housing for visitors during the summer school. As healers originally the Fellowship built it to nurse & house people with uncontagous diseases as well as a healing center. It was never a mental Hospital or Insane Asylum.

Officer ufo1 It purpose was was to help cure people from Mental and Serious Health Issues. It was an Asylum and its documented in Oceanside's Historic Society. I made a trip to New England when I was stationed at Fort Drum back in 1998. There everything looks then same like one massive home owners association. It's also extremely White-Wash. I'd rather live in San Clemente were Winter is slight rain and Summer is 70F. We don't freeze out asses off here in Southern California.
